I groaned loudly when I heard  the infuriating sound of my alarm clock going off.

Nevertheless I sat up and got out of bed. As soon as I did I regretted it immediately because I got welcomed by the coolness of the air in my very small bedroom. I knew I should have shut my window last night before I went to sleep, if I did, it wouldn't have been so cold in here.

I looked around slowly becoming aware of my surroundings and saw my cat at the end of my bed still sleeping soundly, I don't know how she managed to stay asleep with how loud my alarm was. I reached towards the end of my bed and pet her even though she is isn't acknowledging my presence at all.

"Lucky cat gets to sleep in all day and not have a single care in the whole world." I grumbled lowly, about ready to call it quits and go back to sleep. Standing up straight was not helping me stay awake, I was beginning to get a bit dizzy from lack of sleep last night.

"I am so not ready for school today." I stated as I stretched making an unusual and awkward sound. I then threw my long, light brown hair up in a very messy bun.

I walked as slow as a sloth into my closet. I was never really a morning person, I need coffee.

After what seemed 6 minutes of searching of something to wear today, I ended up walking out of my closet with some black leggings and a pale blue shirt. Leggings have and always will be my favorite, anyone and everyone will always catch my ass in leggings because they make my shape look great, they match everything and they're just to comfortable not to wear.

After changing and doing everything, I slowly headed downstairs to see if anyone was up. When I started walking around I heard nothing and saw no one so I automatically assumed that one else is up,  I went to the kitchen and make a bowl of cereal and a cup of coffee adding a lot a sugar and coffee creamer.

I walked to the living room with my cereal and coffee in my hands and sat on the couch, placing my breakfast on the coffee table, I grabbed the remote that was placed right beside my food and watched whatever was on knowing it would be a while before my sister gets up, I always wake up earlier than her.

When I go to reach the remote to change the channel my sister Serena approaches out of nowhere. "Morning Renae" she said while yawning unattractively.

"Morning Ren." I replied back to her grumpily using our nickname and starred back to the t.v.

Funny story... our parents named us Serena and Renae for one small simple reason, Basically both of our names revolve around the name Ren, I suppose my parents just really liked the name.

"You're up early today?" I questioned her, taking a sip of my coffee afterwards.

She simply shrugged and said "I figured I would shower before school, Hence my wet hair. "she said attempting to run her fingers through it but failing because it is a tangled mess and then gave me a look as like I was going crazy.

"Oh." Was all I said as I noticed her hair was in fact a little damp.

Ren is supposedly one of the populars in our school, how she got up such a 'high rank' I have no idea. Me?-Well I'm what anyone would consider a loner, yep you heard that right... a big ole loser. Maybe it's the fact that me and her don't look anything alike, with me having long brown hair and hazel eyes, compared to her hair that's dirty blonde and just below shoulder length, I look absolutely nothing like her, so i guess people just assume we must be cousins that basically never talk at school, occasionally but barley ever.

Meanwhile, I finish my cereal and grab my empty coffee mug lazily got up off the couch and sulked back to the kitchen to put my empty bowl in the sink. "You look tired today, What time did you go to sleep?" Serena asked.

"Oh, Umm... About 11:40" I responded back to her after I put my dishes in the sink.

"Oh, that's not so bad." She said.

"It is what it is" I said casually while looking at the time on the microwave.

"Come on, it's almost time to go, we don't wanna miss the bus." I said jogging the doorway and threw on my blue sweater and slipped on my blue vans.

"Ugh." she said rolling her eyes. "Okay, okay, hold on... I'm coming." She said as she rushed outside to catch up with me.

If it was one thing that I hated it was being late for the bus.
