Babysitting the Boy I Hate

4: Penny

The rest of the school day passed by like a blur, but soon enough it was over. Thank goodness. I feel miserable and I just wanna go home but I'm sure that every student in this school feels the exact same way.

I'm walking out of the library to my locker and I see a penny on the hallway floor so of course just me being me, I picked it up and continued my walk to my locker to get my stuff to go home.

When I get to my blue colored locker I put in my combination and grabbed my backpack quickly. Ready to turn around, I gently shut my locker and slowly turned around, I wasn't surprised to see Blaide shadowing me; he's been doing this for days now; but surprisingly Samara wasn't attached to his hip this time.

'I knew this would happen again.' I thought as I still felt my coin still in the palm of my hand when I added pressure to it.

I thought back to the times in middle school when me and Blaide used to be somewhat friends, he used to be the sweetest kid... I don't know what happened.

"Ugh, what do u want?" I mumbled after realizing he was still there stalking me. I tried to walk away embarrassingly fast but somehow he seemed to catch back up with me. I really didn't wanna talk to him at this moment... or any moment for that matter.

"I told you that I'd be back Blue." He responded with his smirk and laughed it off.

"Again with this stupid nickname you created, it's not even that good." I rolled my eyes and mumbled under my breath while looking at the ground.

"Anyways that's not my name and you know it but have to go..." I said awkwardly and tried to walk away from him but just before I could he grabbed my arm.

"Hold on -Wait! Then what is it?" He asked, he seemed as if he genuinely wanted to know what my name was.

'What is he talking about?' I thought.

"You got to be kidding me Blaide" I said trying to walk away.

"I'm serious, what is your name?" He responded.

"You don't remember me?... huh, okay" I said.

"Should I?" He responded trying to think but he looked frustrated.

"No. Just call me Blue then!" I snapped up at him as I jerked my arm back from his grasp and walked away but then decided to add "And leave me alone." I yelled then continued to walk the opposite direction of him to get on my bus.

~Flash forward~

So here I am on the bus, sitting in my specific seat that I picked earlier that week with my penny that I found earlier still in the palm of my hand-In the front seat of the bus; by myself. Just thinking.
