I didn't look at Blaide for the rest of the hour, I was trying to think how this would work out but it was hard to think because I knew that he was starring at me time after time. After a minute, I got sick of him starring at me.
I got up quickly after the teacher got done speaking to the class, he sent this guy named Harry that I knew in elementary to pass around papers. I took this opportunity to go ask Mr. Johnson if I could switch partners with someone.
As I got close to his desk I decided to speak up after a short moment of awkwardly standing there. "Hi, is there any change that... I don't know, you could change me and Blaide being partners?" I questioned quickly because I definitely did not want Blaide hearing.
"I'm afraid not dear, it's already been decided." He said after he patiently waited what I said.
"Please." I tried to beg.
"It's only a week and besides I'm sure he wouldn't do the assignment if he wasn't partnered up and you are my brightest student Renae." He seemed somewhat proud.
Just as I was about to walk away he then added "And I think it will work out very well." He said as he smiled at me and began grading papers from other classes that were neatly on his desk.
I decided it wasn't best to argue with him and slowly headed back to my seat to see several assignments at my desk from the one kid Harry passing them out.
