(It's Saturday)
After the whole fiasco of the coffee situation that happened Friday I went straight to bed but of course I did my homework first. I slept for a good 4 hours before waking up with a growling stomach; I knew I was hungry.
I went downstairs passed my mum watching t.v. And eating cocoa puff cereal In the living room straight into the kitchen to see if there was any dinner tonight. Sadly there wasn't anything made so I made 2 simple peanut butter jelly sandwiches and headed back into the living room with them.
I sat down on the sofa next to her, My mum was watching a t.v. Show called Bones, personally this show didn't interest me in the slightest way but I still watched it with her and stayed quiet, eating my sandwiches contently.
"Ren." My mother said after swallowing a bite of her cereal.
"Yeah?" I more like questioned back to her, unsure of what she was gonna say.
"I have this dear friend from work you see and she needs to work some extra shifts for personal reasons and is looking for someone to babysit and since you like little kids I may have suggested you." She then added. "How would you feel about that?" She questioned looking at me.
Confused I asked "Why not Serena?"
"Well you know she's almost always out with her friends and is rarely home so obviously she was out of the picture on this." She tried to explain using hand motions but completely failed.
"Mum... I have school and homework." After a moment of silence I added "How's that gonna work out." I again questioned her.
"Dear... It will be after school of course and it's only a few days out of the week, If I remember right it should be..." She paused a moment to think. "Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. That's it, well if I'm correct that is." She responded back.
"I guess that can fit into my schedule. Not like I have plans or stuff to do anyways yanno." I said.
"Precisely." She responded back.
Shaking my head I told her "that wasn't that type of question to be originally answered but alright." I mumbled and sighed.
"I'll see how it goes and let you know." I told her as I got up ready to go back to bed.
"Alright sweetie, goodnight." She told me as she noticed I was heading back upstairs.
"Night." I again mumbled back, heading up the stairs with my sandwiches still in my hand.
