Babysitting the Boy I Hate

7: Routines

Once again I wake up for school like I do every weekday at 5:00am and head down stairs to see my mom cooking eggs and toast for a real quick breakfast for us.

"Hey." I said as she noticed my presence in the kitchen and grinned, she's probably only grinning because she wants me to do something for her.

"Morning Darling, can you go wake up Ren for me?" She asked as she was just finishing up our breakfast.

"Yeah, sure." I said as I turned back around to go back upstairs to wake up my sister.

While heading upstairs I made sure to look where I was walking just in case I wouldn't trip and not be ready for it. I did this up until I got to my sisters door.

(Knock, knock.)

"Ren, are you up yet?" I questioned but didn't hear back a response so I naturally walked in only to see her still sleeping soundly.

I shook her gently and said "You're such a deep sleeper." And was shaking my head slightly.

"Okay, Serena time to get up, mom made BREAKFAST! THERE IS FOOD DOWNSTAIRS" I yelled which I RARELY ever do but in this case it was acceptable.

"You love food, we both do so get your ass up" I said loudly trying to wake her. She groined and peeked through her blanket covers "food?" She asked,
"Yes," I laughed "food."

   I made sure she was actually up before leaving her room and heading back downstairs not even bothering to look where I was stepping anymore.

I got back into the dinning room to see our lovely breakfast that our mum made us on the dining room table neatly placed down.

My dad already sitting there casually eating. "Good morning Dad." I mumbled sitting down.

"Oh, good morning Renae." He said as he looked up to see me through his glasses.

As I was just sitting there he questioned "Did your mother wake up Serena?"

"Actually no, I did... mum was to busy in the process of making breakfast for all of us." I said barely making eye contact with him because I literally suck ass at making eye contact with people.
I looked at the top of the stairs seeing when Serena would actually come down but surprisingly I heard her voice in the kitchen already talking to mum.

For a little while I just caught up with dad a bit taking bites of our breakfast occasionally but at least our food wasn't getting cold unlike moms and Ren's plates are.

After I finished eating I put my plate in the sink and headed back to my room to get my back pack and shoes. I grabbed my blue sweater and stepped into my vans before grabbing my back pack that was behind my door and head out of my room.

While on my way going back downstairs I see Ren in the bathroom doing her makeup, personally she doesn't need it but at least she puts it on light unlike half the girls in school.

Shaking my head I headed back downstairs and looked at the time, We still have 10 minutes until we had to leave, so I went to the living room and pulled out my IPhone 7 Plus from the side pocket of my leggings and read on Wattpad to pass the time.

(9 minutes later)

I was so into my book that I almost didn't even notice Serena heading back downstairs calling my name telling me it was time to go.

"Oh, sorry I didn't hear you." I said as I slide my phone back into my pocket

How did you not hear me?" She laughed. "Did you go completely deaf? I was basically shouting at you to get your attention."

"Very funny." I responded back with the straightest face I could muster and grabbed my book bag and headed out the door with her, closing it behind me.
