Jason's pov
"Cause you're the one I want, you're the one I need baby if I was a king, you would be my queen. You're the rock to my roll, you're good for my soul, it's true, I'm head over boots for you!" I sing in her barn while she sits on the hay. "Jason, stop." I lower the guitar. "Whats wrong?" "How am I gonna tell Mark? What am I gonna do?" I sigh and walk over. "Just tell him that it's over!" She glares at me. "It's not that simple, Jason!" Ugh. "Baby, I've waited just about my whole life for this chance. How can I help?" She shrugs, her hands on her arms. "I wish I could go back in time. Back to high school!" She gasps, starting to cry. "Man, you don't know how bad I wish I could too." I grab her hands. "But whatever happens with Mark, I'll always be here." I wipe the tear from her cheek. "No matter what choice I make?" She asks, worrying me. "Y-Yeah?" I say slowly. "Then I know what I have to do. Thanks Jason! I love you!" She says, kissing me. Then she runs out the door. Huh?! I run to the door. "But baby! What does this mean for us?! What are you gonna do?! She turns around while running to her car. "Meet me at the church for your answer!" I'm so scared. She's not gonna go back to Mark is she?!
*later*
I get to the church. She stands out front with Mark, Luke, and TFarr. I'm so confused and worried. Tyler walks over to me. "What's... What's going on?" I ask terrified, seeing Mark smiling. "Come on. You can't expect to wear that to your wedding!" He gasps. My eyes go wide. "What?" I gape shocked. "Come on!" He grabs my shoulder along with Luke and we go inside. "Guys! What's going on?! I'm so confused!" "Here put this on!" Luke says handing me a tuxedo. "A tux? Why am I wearin' a-" "Hurry it up, man! And here when you get out there, don't forget to hold this." Tyler says handing me a ring. "STOP!" I yell, breathing hard. They both fall silent. "What.... Is going on here?" They look at each other and laugh. "Well you're getting married of course!" Luke says. Huh? "I am? Who-" "Miranda of course!" Tyler says also laughing. Marriage?! I'm not ready for marriage! I.... We haven't even dated yet like I want to! I back up, closing my eyes and trip over a bucket. When I open my eyes I'm laying on the barn floor with Miranda asleep beside me, curled up against my side. Whoa. Just a dream. A weird dream. I shakily wrap an arm around her. "Thank God." I gasp, shutting my eyes.
Miranda's pov
*the next day*
"I'm sorry Mark but I was wrong." I say, tearing up as I hand the ring back to him. I glance back at the cowboy. My hand gripped tight around my locket. The one with his initials and our pictures inside. "Miranda." Mark says, grabbing my hand. "If you're happy I'm happy." "I'm so sorry Mark. I hope you find someone who will make you happy again." He smiles sadly. "Don't worry about little ol MarkyMoo. I'll be fine." I giggle at the nickname he always called himself. "Markiplier out." He says kissing my cheek and walking to his truck. Jason hugs me. "I know that must've been hard." "Unbelievably hard." I whisper. He rests a hand on my chin and makes me look up at him. "I love ya hun." I smile. "I love you too, Jason." I say, hugging him.
