Miranda's pov
*in her dream*
I hear the powerpuff girls theme song come on. I laugh softly and walk into my twins' bedroom. "Ezekiel, Alison. Bedtime." They click off the TV and ask me when their daddy's coming home. "Once he finishes playing music for people." I say, smiling and patting my six year olds' heads. They crawl into bed and I tuck them in.
*she wakes up*
My heart is racing. I look around the dark room. "Ezekiel? Alison?" I stumble out of bed. 8 months pregnant. Waiting. Being surprised on genders. But those are the names we picked out. I realize it was all a dream. "Babe?" I hear Jason say. I turn back around to the sleepy cowboy. "Sorry... I... I had a dream." I say, sitting back down. "You okay?" "About our babies."
Jason's pov
Babies?! "Babies?" I gape, staring at her. "Honey do you know something I don't?" "I.. I.... No sorry. In my dream we had six year old twins and when I woke up... They were gone... I didn't realize I was dreaming." She says, looking dazed. I make her lay down. "Let's just go back to sleep, sweet girl. You're gettin' worked up." I lay back down and pull her close. "I'm not scared. I'm.. It was just so amazing... Seeing our babies. We'll soon be parents together, Jay! Can you believe it? I can't imagine! I'm so excited!" I smile and kiss her forehead. "Me too, baby but it's five thirty in the morning. Not peaking hours for a musician." She laughs softly into her hand and sits up. "The sky's awake so I'm awake! So we have to go!" Huh? "Go where, babe?" "The nursery. We need to finish it!" I laugh softly. "Relax baby. Not this early and for one. you're bedridden." "Ugh. Don't remind me." She huffs, making me laugh.
*the next day*

"Rise and shine sleepyhead!" An enthusiastic voice shouts. I rub my eyes, trying to wake up and Jason sets a plate of sausage, eggs, and cheese toast for me. "Aww thanks Jay!" He smiles. "Since cooking is not my forte," He starts, putting a hand to his chest and looking at the ceiling. I laugh at his adorableness as I take a bite of cheese toast, my favorite craving so far. "I got ya these too in case it didn't turn out okay." He says, blushing. I smile. "Ooh Jay this is the best breakfast sausage I've ever eaten!" I gasp, truthfully. He looks surprised. "Really?" I nod. "Wow. Well usually I can't cook worth a damn!" I laugh and finish eating breakfast. "Maybe I'll get you to make me that every morning." His eyes go wide and he rubs the back of his head. "Now honey. You got lucky that one time it turnin' out good. I doubt I can pull it off again." I smile. "Just joshin' ya cowboy." I say, kissing his cheek. He smiles and stares at me. "What?" I ask. He continues to stare. "Hello?" I ask. He laughs softly. "I just love ya baby. I'm so excited to raise a family with you." I smile. "You're such a romantic. I love you too, Jason!" He sits beside me and wraps me in his arms, his hands on my stomach. "I wonder what we're having." I say, resting my hands on his. "Well we'd know if someone wasn't so stubborn." "Aww don't ya wanna be surprised?" I ask, jokingly. He rolls his eyes. "I love you." He kisses my cheek and takes a picture of us together to post on Instagram. He puts the caption: One more month and this proud husband becomes a proud #Father. #Babiesmakinbabies. I laugh at the caption. "I love that song." I say. "I know. Ooh wait here. I'll be right back."
Jason's pov
I grab my guitar and pray once again for a baby girl. I want a little daughter so bad! One who's just like her mommy both in looks and style. She'd be amazing. I get back to our room and pull up a chair. "I wanna play a song for the baby." "Oh really! I'm so excited!" I laugh when she lifts her shirt up. I kiss her stomach. "Mommy and Daddy love you so much." I whisper then sit back down. "Gotta hold on easy as I let you go... Gonna tell ya how much I love you... Though ya think you already know. I remember I thought you looked like an angel wrapped in pink so soft and warm. You've had me wrapped around your finger since the day you were born."
Miranda's pov
I feel tears prickle at my eyes. "You're beautiful baby from the outside in! Chase your dreams.... But always know the road... That'll lead ya home again! Go on take on this whole world... But to me ya know you'll always be..... My little girl." I feel the baby kick. I grab Jason and pull him closer as he sings. "When you were in trouble that crooked little smile... Could melt my heart of stone. Now look at you... I've turned around and you've almost grown." He whisper sings the song to me and I drift off to sleep.

I laugh softly and kiss her forehead after putting my guitar up and laying down beside her. "Goodnight sweet girl." Even though it's 11:25.
*in his dream*
"DADDY!" I sigh and walk down to Ali's room. "You didn't check for monsters!" She gasps, covering her head with the blanket. "Sweetheart there are no monsters. I promise." I say, walking over. "I've checked." "Pwease?" She asks. I can't help but smile at the adorable three year old. "OK princess. I'll check." I look under her bed and in the closet. "Nothin'." "Can you stand guard outside my door so I know I'm safe from any intruders?" I smile and make her lay down. I cover her with the blanket. "OK. Daddy'll stand guard right outside your door so no monsters will get you. I promise." She smiles. "Thanks daddy. love you!" I smile and kiss her forehead. "I love you too."
