Jason's pov
I just got home from Ty's house. After we recorded the episode, we played pool and drank. Miranda and Hannah went somewhere. I don't know where.
Miranda's pov
"Oh ya wanna get some action." I roll my eyes at the drunkard. I slap his hand away from me. "Um she's mine, back off!" Caroline shouts, wrapping an arm around my shoulders. "Ew lesbians." The guy says, walking away. We both bust out laughing. "Cheers to the best friend pretending to be a lesbian to ward away drunks at the bar." I say, raising my beer in the air. She clanks it with her own. "We better get home." I say, sliding off the barstool. I bump into someone and my eyes go wide in surprise. Mark. "Hey.. Sorry." I mumble, surprised. I back up and stand next to Caroline. Why do I keep running into him? "Hey girl. Ya wanna dance?" I'm nervous. I've been drinking. I shake my head. "Me and Caroline were just leaving." I say pointing. We get to her truck. I glance back and see him staring at me in the doorway. I bite my lip nervously. "What is with that dude?" I shrug and open the door. "We had a thing a while ago." I mumble.
Jason's pov
"Ali, what's wrong?" I gasp confused. She's been crying for almost twenty minutes straight. I've changed her diaper. I've tried giving her a bottle. She wouldn't take it. "Baby girl, what do you want?!" I try getting her a toy but she just throws it down. The door opens. Miranda walks in. "Hey, everything okay?" "She won't stop crying for nothing!" She sits down and takes her. "Maybe she's got gas." I didn't think about that. She tries burping her. I get a weird vibe from her. "What's wrong? You look... Worried." She bites her lip. "After we get Ali down." So there's something up. "Is it bad? Just tell me that?" "I don't know if it is or not." She heads to the nursery. I wring my hands nervous. What is it?!
*2 hours later*
We finally get Ali laid down and she lays down beside me, looking exhausted and freaked out. "Jason remember when I said you had nothing to worry about when it came to Mark?" My eyes go wide. I nod slowly. "W-W-What about him?" "I keep running into him and I don't think it's coincidence. I think he's following me. He was at the bar I was at. He was outside Chapel Hill when we pulled into Ty's house. I'm just super freaked. I know for a fact it isn't coincidence." This guy is dead. "Don't worry honey. I'll show him who's boss!" I say, angrily. She hugs me. "Thanks Jay. I've been really nervous about all this the last couple days." I hold her tight. "Don't you fret. No one is gonna hurt my family." I say. She kisses my cheek. I smile. "You're so awesome." I laugh softly and pull her close, kissing her on the lips. "Baby you make me wanna do things to you I shouldn't." She laughs. "Ooh you dirty minded boy!"
*the next day*
"We got ourselves a problem." "What kinda problem?" Luke asks, sitting beside me on the swing. "Mark." He sighs. "Dude quit being paran-" "I'm not, man! She told me last night! She feels like he's stalking her! He showed up outside Tyler's place this past weekend. He was watching her at the bar last night." "Damn you're kiddin'! What are we doin'?" "Showin' that jackass what happens when you mess with a redneck's woman." We found the hotel he's staying at. I bang on the door. But there's no answer. "Mark! I know you're in there!! Come out so we can settle this like adults!" Silence. "Ok I'm comin' in!" I shout kicking the door in. He was standing in the middle of the room, watching TV, a smile on his smug face. "Mark I want you to leave Miranda alone. You two are through and you know it." "We wouldn't have been if you didn't show up and interrupt our wedding." I glare at him. "It happened man, get the hell over it. Move the fuck on! So help me God if you come anywhere near my wife again, I'll kill you." "Good luck!" He says laughing. "Actually if something were to accidentally happen to you, she'll come running back to me for comfort." I raise a brow, both in anger and suspicion. "What are you getting at?" "I'm getting at you made a fatal mistake coming here. I raise my pistol then something hits me hard in the back of the best and darkness takes over.
