Recover-Chapter Seven

I wake up to sun shinning in my eyes. It's so annoying when you are trying to sleep and you have a bright light in your face!

I did not want to be up at nine in the morning. I'm not a morning person at all. I hate waking up at ungodly hours! I am much nicer when I have had many hours of sleep.

I walk down the stairs with complete silence throughout the house. Mom's probably at work. Yeah, she works on Saturdays too.

Any normal person would just call friends over. I am not normal.. I'm that unsocial girl in the back of the room. I guess I could call Alexander over but I will pass. I don't want him over here with us alone. I don't trust him enough yet. He's really the only friend I have I guess.

Sure I liked Andrea and the other girls, but I can't fit in with them.. Not even if I tried. I wouldn't call them my friends.. I feel like a burden on them so I won't be hanging out with them anymore.

Almost as if on cue I hear my phone go off. I run upstairs to get it.

From: Manwhore :)

Hey u should come over ;)

Maybe he meant to send that to somebody else. Why would he want me over at his house. I also feel like a pain to him. He's had to show me around school for the past few days and drive me everywhere even though I have a car. He's been really sweet and all but I don't want to annoy him.

To: Manwhore ;)

Can't. Don't know where u live

I immediately regret sending that. Of course he would say he could pick me up. It's too early for me to be thinking! And that's exactly what he said too. I didn't want to try and fight him on this so I kinda gave in..

To: Manwhore ;)

Fine but gimme ur address I can find it

I set my phone on my bed and went to my closet to find something to wear. I really want to wear a short sleeves shirt but I can't because of my cuts. If I was just going to be around the house, I could. Nobody would be here to see me.

I pick one out and just decide I can wear a jacket. I can always use the excuse of "it's winter" or something. I slide on a pair of dark jeans and put on my converse. I grab my car keys and drive to the address Alexander gave me.

Ten minutes later I came to a house where I saw his truck in the driveway. I nervously walked up to his door and rang the doorbell.

Alexander opened the door with a smile on his face, which quickly faded. "Eww, it's you." He said flatly. "You know I can always go back home." I turned to walk away. I know he was joking but I haven't fully woken up yet.

He grabbed my wrist, "No! I was joking." He pulled me in his house and shut the door. One last rush of cold air spun around the doorway giving me chills.

"Lets go!" He jogged up the stairs and got halfway before someone, a woman, called out his name. "See you should have hurried! We could have already been up to my room now!" He whispered while laughing. "Who-"

"Alexander answer me when I'm calling you. Oh, who's this?" I'm guessing his mother said. She looked me up and down. "Nobody, just a girl from school. Goodbye mother." He grabbed my wrist and started walking.

"No, you two aren't going anywhere until you answer me." She demanded. It reminded me of a small boy trying to get away with sneaking something in the house, but his mother catches him. "She's just a friend from school. Can I go now?" She giggled and nodded her head.
