[ A Cold World Without You ]

He pulled me in for a hug and he buried his face on the side of my neck. The warmth of his hug made my heart ache. Like any second now, alam kong iiwan niya rin ako.

"Yan," he whispered. "Gusto kita."

Napapikit ako ng mata ko when he said that. Dammit, lalo lang sumasakit puso ko sakanya eh.

"Gustong-gusto kita, pero..." he drew in a deep breathe at mas lalo lang hinigpitan ang yakap niya. "I'd have to leave you."

Kumalas siya sa yakap niya and smiled bitterly. Slowly, his hands slid down my arms. He turned his back on me, and walked away. The warmth I felt earlier, left my system. I can't properly explain the feelings that seeped through me as I watched him. All I know is, I felt cold and lonely. My world without him, will always feel that way.
