Chrollo x reader [Sickness]

(i guess this is more of an AU??????)

You had recently been feeling horrible, then it suddenly happened one day.

You collapsed, after walking back to your house after work. When you awoke you were in your bed but unable to move as fatigue took over your body.

What had happened you didn't know until your lover Chrollo came into the room and sat down next to you. He had calmly explained how you had fainted right beside both of you guy's house, and he had brought you in. You had told him how horrible you had felt earlier and you saw a glint of worry flash through his eyes.

You had reassured him that you were okay and just tired from not getting enough sleep . He then gave you a quick and short explanation about not overworking yourself. You lightly chucked and softly hit him on the shoulder saying he should worry about himself more than you.

That was at least more than a week ago.

You had been stuck in your bed for over a week, unable to get up. Your lover took time off of work to take care of you, you always told him that he didn't need to worry about you, and that you were going to be okay alone.

But now you had changed your mind, You wanted him to be here with you all the time. Feeling a great sense of fear as this sickness came over you.

By this time he was always there at the side of your bed taking care of you.

You started coughing uncontrollably and reached your hand out to him. He quickly grabbed your hand and held it close. He was always calm that was something that you thought was interesting about him.

But now worry was clearly written all over his face as he held your hand.

You squeezed his hand and felt him squeeze back even tighter.

When you first met (on a job) you had automatically took interest in him and wanted to learn more about him. After many weeks of bugging him he gradually opened up to you.

During the time of you bugging him and him opening up to you, you began to develop feelings for him. The calm way he spoke enchanted you.

And here you are now, lovers till the end.

but you didn't think you would make it this time. Your grip on his hand began to slowly release, and you reached out to touch his face. He cupped the hand touching his face and looked at you.

Eyelids getting heavy and your throat being very dry you said these last words to him.

"I Love You."

your hand and body went limp, as your pulse and heartbeat slowed. Taking one last look at your lover you closed your eyes letting out a sigh. You swore you could hear him yell something to you, but his voice was far away.

You wished to see him again, to hold him again and to kiss him again.

But now that was impossible.

~The reason he's ooc and this part is written differently than the last one is because most fanfictions are generally hard for me to write either because i cant get their personality right, or i had no motivation to watch the anime anymore or i never made it to the episode with them in it before i stopped~

( i only watched HxH to episode 37 and i dont really want to finish it, but i did manage to make it to episode 45 or 46 before i got tired)
