"He'll be here any minute, he knows something is going on" Ken announced, "Im going downstairs to Leo, maybe I could help him restrain Hakyeon when he arrives."
But just as Ken was about to departure we heard someone yell from downstairs and rushed down to see what the commotion was. It turned out that Leo didnt need any help, seeing as how he had the person we were expecting pinned to the wall by his throat.
"Let go of me!!" Hakyeon snapped, trying to free himself from Leo's grip.
"Ive been waiting for this day for way too long" Ravi smirked as he gestured for Leo to escort Hakyeon to the tower while I went back to Hyuk and (y/n).
As I arrived to the room I was greeted by Hyuk who still stood by the doorway, and (y/n) in the exact position I'd left them in. She still seemed unaware of everything around her, but at least we finally had confirmation that we could undo all of this.
I approached her with caution and reached for her hand, but she flinched and pulled her hand away making me feel more worthless than I already was. "(y/n) im going to make you better, come with me" I assured her and reached out for her once more.
"no. you are not master."
I groaned in frustration not knowing how I would get her to the tower without any force. She wouldn't budge because Hakyeon was all she fucking knew.
Thats it.
"Hakyeon....Master wants you to come to him, he is up in the tower, i'll take you to him" I managed to say and she responded with a slight nod. I finally took hold of her hand and we all made our way back up to the tower where Hakyeon and our chance out of here were waiting.
Hakyeon was strapped to a chair, his hands bound on the arm rest on either side of him. He was accompanied by Leo and Ravi who held him in place as he still tried to free himself from their grip.
"You will all pay for this" he hissed, as the old woman brought a gold chalice over to him, and began reading from her book. Everyone in the room fell silent as she chanted unknown phrases around Hakyeon, and for the first time, in a long time I saw fear in his eyes. He was helpless. He knew that all of this was over and he had lost. That was until I felt (y/n) push past me and walk over to him.
"(y/n) darling, help me, you need to stop them" Hakyeon begged and she stared at all of us in disgust. She stood in front of him and prevented the lady from touching him, like she owed her life to him.
"Hongbin you need to keep her away, this stuff is dangerous" the old woman warned.
"(y/n) come here" I said, tugging on her arm but she wouldn't move. I really didn't want to restrain her but she wasn't giving me a choice at this moment. I pinned her arms to her side and pulled her away from Hakyeon and took her over to the other side of the room where she couldn't interrupt the process. She tried to escape, she shouted for him, she told me she hated me. But I had to endure it for the both of us. It hurt me so much to make her feel this way, but I knew that after suffering came success.
"take his glove off" the lady ordered Ravi, "the one on his right hand."
"no please don't do this please" Hakyeon pleaded, as the old woman mixed up a concoction in the chalice.
"Master!!" (y/n) cried, still trying to fight against my strength. I buried my face into the crooked of her neck, facing her away from Hakyeon. I didnt want to see her cry for someone I knew she cared nothing for, instead I just wanted to hold her, make the small part of her know that everything is going to be okay.
I watched as the old woman's chants became louder and she poured what looked like hot wax over Hakyeon's hand, which graced a marking of an eye. His shrieks filled the room and I winced as the hot wax dripped all over his hand, scarring it terribly.
"no! let me go!!" (y/n) screamed, pushing out of my arms and ran over to Hakyeon's side. She held him in her arms and sobbed as if we were the ones who had punished them. We were the villains, and they were the victims.
"The curse is lifted" the old woman exhaled, throwing the remains of her books and the chalice in the fireplace.
"If its lifted, why is she still like this?" I retorted, watching the person I loved cry over the man who hurt her.
"Your curse is lifted, hers....I need something specific...its back at my house" she replied and grabbed a bag of items, "Come on there's not much time left we need to leave."
I stood over her weeping figure, making sure not to look at Hakyeon. I knew if I did, I would kill him. She shoved me away as I tried to bring her to her feet and I knew I had to use force once again. My body was drained, I was exhausted but I needed to get her out of this place, even if it was the last thing I do.
I managed to restrain her once more and I heard him call after me, asking me to release him. His pleads lingered in the castle as we exited, I never wanted to see him ever again. The rest of the guys managed to get a car started and thankfully we still had Hakyeon's butler around to help drive us to where we needed to be. I held (y/n) in my arms tightly, as we began our journey out of the castle, as she looked out of the window, crying to go back.
