We arrived at a run down cottage just outside of the city and the old woman, whom we now know as Mrs Lim ordered us to all get (y/n) inside before the sight of dawn. (y/n) still struggled out of my hold but I was used to it now, and was able to settle her down without hurting her.

Mrs Lim gathered items from the bag she brought with, along with various items around her tiny cottage and set it up on the table where Ken and I held (y/n) in place.  My body was so weak from everything, especially now returning to my human state, I felt as though I was going to pass out.

"Hongbin why don't you go rest for a bit, I can take it from here" Ravi said, taking my place at (y/n)'s side. My heavy eyes lingered on her face as I took a step back, leaving her alone right now was so agonizing, but I knew she was in good hands.

I walked over to the couch where I could still have a good view of what was going on and allowed myself to relax for the first time in weeks, eventually drifting off to my first sleep in almost 10 years. I was able to dream again. I was able to have my mind to myself and just be mundane. Being human was truly the best gift we could have ever received, and I would never take that for granted.

"It will be done when the sun rises" Mrs Lim smiled as I rubbed my eyes and walked over to the table where (y/n) was asleep peacefully. I pulled a chair and sat by her side, she looked so beautiful, more because she didn't look so troubled. I ran my hand over her head as everyone left the two of us alone and caught up on their sleep, as I waited for her to come out of hers.

The sun finally began to rise and the rays of sunlight shone through the cottage and onto her face. My eyes stayed glued to hers, heart pounding at my chest waiting for a sign of her awakening. Suddenly I noticed her stir on the table and her eyes fluttered open, those eyes with so much of life and mystery in them, that made me fall so hard in the first place. She turned her head to face me, her eyebrows knitting together in confusion.

"Hongbin?" she whispered.

I'd never been so happy to hear my name fall from her lips. "Yes yes, it's me" I smiled, grabbing onto her hand tightly as she continued to study her surroundings.

"W-where are we? W-where's Hakyeon and everyone---"

"Baby were free, its all over now" I explained, placing my lips on the back of her hand and helped her up to a seated position. "The curse, everything its all over."

Her eyes focused on the open door of the cottage, looking out into the brightly lit meadow and made her way outside. Her hand stayed firmly grasped in mine as we strolled into the front garden and soaked up the sunlight. Her smile grew as she looked up into the sky, the realization finally kicking in.

"Is this a dream?" she giggled, touching the shrubs alongside the fence and turned back to face me. "If it is a dream, don't pinch me."

"Right back at ya" I chuckled, I couldn't believe that she was finally herself again. I stared at her in awe as she continued to take in the outside world with so much innocence, I knew at this moment that the start of my new life was going to be a good one.

"You have no idea how much we have been through these past two days huh?" I asked as we took a seat on a hill not too far away from the cottage.

"Tell me everything" she grinned, pulling me down onto the crisp grass and rested her head onto my chest.

That's exactly what I did. I told her how hard everything was for us and how I thought we were never going to recover from this. But a smile crept on my face as she reached up and placed her lips on mine and told me that everything is going to be okay. Something I've been telling her since the beginning, but maybe I needed to hear it for myself, because everything did turn out okay. She was here, We all were here. Alive and well.
