4. Alive

"Leo, leave her alone" I heard a voice call behind me, and watched as the other supposedly mannequin, stared the both of us down.

I scurried to the exit, expecting Leo to chase after me, but to my surprise, he stood frozen at the entrance, only his piercing eyes glared down at me.

I didn't know if I was losing my mind, or this was some sick dream, but I didn't like the position I was currently in. I slowly tugged at my hair, watching as each mannequin came to life before me, each of them watching me intently as if I was the odd one.

"Please let this be a dream, please let this be a dream" I mumbled under my breath, walking backwards until my body hit the cold glass of another chamber.

"Don't be afraid" a voice whispered behind me, causing me to collapse onto the floor. Staring up I was greeted by the younger blonde mannequin. 

"H-h-hyuk?" I stammered. Great, now I was trying to converse with my nightmares.

"You know my name" he chimed, his smile only growing wider, "guys! She knows my name."

"Ofcourse she does, he must of told her" The black haired, rougher mannequin spat. Or Ravi, as he was commonly known.

"W-whats going on?" I choked, fear eating every bit of me at this moment. Was I going to become one of them? If so, does this mean I'm never getting out of this room?

I began to have a panic attack. My heart beat sped up as I sat in the corner besides one of the chambers, trying to accept my fate. I felt the stares of the rest of them on me, but I didn't care, I began to cry, I began to cry a lot.

I heard them muttering, obviously talking about me but I tried to block them out as best as I could, until I felt someone slide down behind me and tap on the glass.

I wiped my tears and turned around, greeted by the one who had captured my attention in the beginning, the forbidden one, Hongbin.

"Please help me" I sniffed, as his strong eyes softened at my desperate plea.

"You need to get out of here before he puts you into one of these" he said, as his eyes stayed glued to mine, intrigued by my existence.

"Is--that what he did to you?" I asked, feeling a sense of comfort with him.

Hongbin shook his head and placed his hand on the glass, showing me cracks of his skin, which revealed a decaying mould. It made me feel uncomfortable, and he noticed this, immediately pulling his hand away.

"We've been here for more than 17 years. Not in this specific place, but under his spell for 17 years, moving where he does, in these God forsaken chambers" Hongbin explained, gritting his teeth in frustration.

"S-s-spell?" I  whispered, finding each word harder to believe.

"Spell, voodoo, whatever you want to call it, I've been...we've all been trapped like this for so long, we're basically dead inside" Hongbin scoffed, as you sunk to the floor, pondering on his words.

What the hell was Hakyeon doing, what exactly was he getting out of this? 

As I rushed through a million thoughts I felt his eyes on me, his head tilting a bit to get a better view. But just as I was about to ask him more questions, the basement door flung open, and there stood the man I should be fearing the most, Cha Hakyeon.

"Well well, it was way too early for you to meet my babies but this just makes it easier" Hakyeon said, clapping his hands ecstatically.

"You need to run, don't look back just run" Hongbin whispered, as Hakyeon casually saw to all his chambers.

"Oh (y/n) I have such big expectations for my next exhibition, finally a female model" Hakyeon continued, as I carefully eyed the door behind him.

I decided to just run but before I could, Hakyeon grabbed my arm, tutting in disapproval as I tried to free myself from his grip.

"Running away is the worst idea (y/n)" he hummed, as he placed his index finger on my lips and brought his lips to mine, taking my bottom lip in between his teeth and biting harshly.

I winced at the pain and finally pushed him away as I freed myself from his grip and bolted for the door. I heard him chuckle behind me as I exited the basement, running down the hall, not looking back as Hongbin said.

I made it into the courtyard and my car was nowhere to be seen, nor was any of Hakyeon's other cars, so all I could do was see how far I could get on foot.

I ran through the thick dark forest, my mind becoming fuzzy as I ran, not knowing where I was going. I suddenly felt a warm sensation build up throughout my body and my vision became blurry. I screamed for help, but all that could be heard was my echo. I rubbed my eyes, as the burning sensation became worse, and suddenly, everything turned to black.
