Chapter 64: I Lost You.

Taehyung's POV

"Taehyung, do you want to join us? Jungkook's coming with me. I invited him for lunch so the two of you could meet." I blankly stared at my phone as I read the message repeatedly.

I wanted to spend my time with her, alone.

It's not like I didn't want to meet Jungkook.

I just thought that I could meet him any day, without being with Minah.

"Okay, I'm going. Just tell me where and I'll follow." I hesitated before sending it.

I quickly grabbed my towel as I went to the bathroom.

I quickly locked my door as I ran my fingers through my hair, walking towards my car.

I quickly went in as I checked my phone for any messages.

"We're here."

"I'm coming."

I placed my phone down as I started the engine, driving off to where they are.

I looked up at the restaurant as I looked around for them inside.

This must be the place.

I quickly went inside as I searched around, looking for them.

I saw two figures laughing happily together as I froze.

That's them, right?

Should I still go?

"Hey, am I missing something? You looked like you were having fun without me." I quickly interrupted as I saw Jungkook looking at me unsteadily.

"No, we were just waiting for you. I already ordered food." Minah smiled as I looked at Jungkook every now and then.

"Hello, Jungkook. Nice to meet you." I kindly said as I offered my hand.

"Welcome back." He hesitated before shaking hands with me as he smiled.

"Good to know you two are getting along." she interrupted as we both sat down.

"Be right back, I'll just take our food." She quickly stood up, leaving the two of us.

It felt awkward as we looked at each other every now and then, not sure how to start.

"So." I started as he looked at me.

"How's it like being with Minah?"

"It's fun, I guess. I got to know her better and make her happy." he shyly smiled as I slowly nodded.

"Did you take good care of her?" I asked as he hesitantly looked at me.

"I can say I did. She was quite happy while I was with her." He smiled as I felt somehow hurt.

"Do you like her?" I asked as he froze.

"Me? Of course not. Why would you ask that?" he nervously said as I shrugged.

"I just thought of asking." I quickly said as I looked down.
