Chapter 5 - Unexpected Visit

"Bella, you're back, you must be feeling better" Jessica said sarcastically.

Angela took be in a warm hug and I saw had been holding her free hand, they were so adorable together.

"Bella we missed you so much, where'd you disappear to you little rascale?" she said giggling

I just smiled and nodded.

She smiled in acknowledgement.

"Arizona"

I heard Mike Newton from afar through the crowd of the students that had been surrounding me.

"So you back, huh?" he said taking me in yet another obvious hug.

"Yep" I replied smiling

"I missed you" he said poking me with his elbow in my chest.

"We were together a few hours back Mike, don't exaggerate" I said poking him back.

"Its good that you're here Bella we are going to La Push today, Ja- something will probably be there" Jessica interrupted.

"Jake, he lives there" I said

Mike's facial expression changed immediately, I turned to face Jessica.

"Great then you'll come then?" she said

I looked at everyone's faces, Angela was tugged under Ben's arms smiling like crazy, Mike didn't look pleased, Jessica prevented to be friendly.

"Oh c'mon Bella, say yes, we'll have loads of fun" Angela said

She was so cute and friendly, my only true friend besides crazy Mike that is.

"Okay just promise nothing funny happens while I'm there okay" I said Angela hugged me, only being cut by the school bell ending our cafeteria time.

I had gym and I so didn't want to go there, I was a bad sports woman.

"Guys you can go on ahead to Gym, I'm going to the office will be quick" I said

Everyone said their "okay sure" and went off except Mike ofcourse.

Then I heard the strangest thing... Edwards voice...

"Bella..."

The voice said

"did you hear that?" I said

Mike's eyes narrowed and he faked a smile.

"what exactly Bella?" he said

I decided not to bring up the, I-can-hear-voices thing up and rather laughed it off.

"It was nothing, anyway you don't have to wait up for me I might be long" I said shoving my hands in my pockets.

"I don't mind" he said shrugging his shoulders

"Well I do, I don't want you to get scolded because of me, so go on ahead" I said

"Okay but don't disappear on us again, now you hear Arizona" he said

"I promise I won't go anywhere without telling you guys" I said before I walked off in search off the voice I heard.

I walked the corridors until I was face to face with Edward standing by his black Volvo.

I thought I was hallucinating right until he touched me and began kissing me instantly and I couldn't bring myself to get him to stop.

And just when I was getting into the mood, he broke the kiss. I crumpled into his chest.

I was glad to see him, he had come back. My Edward came back.

Then a sudden realisation came over me. I had a boyfriend Jake and he wouldn't be alright with me being so close to Edward and the fact that Edward was back in town, Jake would freak.

"Bella I got to go somewhere now but I'll meet you at the meadow at noon okay we need to talk, now act normal because Jacob's on his way here" Edward said

I nodded

I grabbed his wrist before he got in his car.

"And please don't disappear, we really have to talk" I said

"I'll be there Bella promise, the question is will you be there?" he said and disappeared to his car and he was gone in a flash.

I heard Jakes rabbit car get closer. I dusted myself off knowing if Jake got closer to me, then I would have to explain before I went to Edward which is really not a good idea right now.

I paced around in a circle trying to come up with the best lie for noon's meeting with Edward, I'd tell Jake the truth later after I met up with Edward anyway.

While I was deep in thought Jake's rabbit car parked next to mine Quill was with him.

Jake got out first followed by Quill, they were like robots or something or maybe puppets.

"Bella, Jake's been thinking about you the whole day, are you guys really dating now or is it one of his fantasies again?" Quill said laughing

I laughed as they play wrestled.

Then Jake took me in a hug,kissing my forehead.

"Hey beautifull, I came to kidnap you. Are you ready to be my victim" he said

"oh Jake, now you're a kidnapper. This'll be fun" I said as I followed to his car.

"Give Quill your car keys, he'll take it back..I'm taking you somewhere" he said as I threw the keys to Quill.

"Oh c'mon bro you're just going to desert me like this,burn" he said as he got in my truck and started the ignition.

The truck made a funny sound.

"man Bella, somethings wrong with your truck, now that you have a mechanic boyfriend you should have it checked" Quill said

"Stop hating on the truck Quill" I warned

"Are you sure its safe to drive this thing it looks like it will blow up any minute" Quill joked

"Man just take the lady's truck back man" Jake said getting into the drivers seat.

"Whatever you say man" he replied and took off.

"Here we go" Jake said
