Chapter 9- Intimacy

Jake's really unpredictable how could he laugh at a time like this.

I was yet to turn and confront him but Mike caught my my hand that earned him a growl from Jake who didnt do as much as stand his ground watching Mike with menacing eyes.

I turned to Mike who looked like his face was on fire considering how red it had gone, I pulled my hand out of his grip.

I met his gaze, he was obviously intimidated by Jake but he didnt want to look vulnerable at all but his complection did not help considering his red flushed face.

"Mike is something wrong?" I asked there obviously was something wrong but I wanted to distract him.

My tactic seemed to work, he met my gaze and his colour flushed back although a little flusher of pink, maybe he was blushing.

"I'm suddenly not feeling well must be the presence of some people" he said

I saw Jake crouch and I knew I had to do something before it got ugly out here, I mean it was the Quilette territory after all.

Mike noticed as well so he retreated turning around to his friends.

"Guys lets go, see you at school Arizona" he said patting my shoulder before he got in the truck along with everyone else and took off.

I turned to Jake who was approaching me with a silly grin on his face what a show off, my show off that is.

He took me in a unexpected embrace kissing my forehead in the attempt, his hug was tight but not tight enough, I wanted to wrap myself around him in every humanly possible way. He noticed me getting closer and closer trying to get him as close as possible it felt like we were merging together.

He released me taking my chin in his hands, he was piercing into my eyes like he could see my soul and all else that was hidden inside me, he was trying to read me.

"Bella you are so hard to read, what are you thinking?" he asked my face still in his hands.

I pulled out of his grasp taking his hands in mine trying to match them with mine, entangling them together, his skin was hot against mine I wanted to feel more of it.

I met his gaze.

He still had the unreadable expression like he was boring into my soul, trying to understand me.

"Jake I want you, I want to wrap myself around you in every humanly possible way" I said

A cocky smile grew on his face up to his eyes.

"Wow, Bells that sounds enticing but dangerous" he said with a wide grin on his face.

"We haven't tried anything yet and you think its dangerous, why?" I said looking up at the giant in front of me.

"Bella don't you think we're moving too fast, don't let Edward's presence intimidate you" he said now without a grin confirming he was serious.

"Its not Edward, Jake, I want this don't you want me?" I said

"of course I want you but not like this Bella you're, I could hurt you" he said looking down at me, emphasicing every word.

"Jake lets not talk here, its already cold as it is, we'll talk at home then you can decide there" I said pulling him to my truck, he didnt resist.

I got in the passenger seat and he in the drivers seat we took off and silence claimed our ride home.

We were at my house instantly and Charlie wasn't there yet so I thought he might be out with Billy.

I hurried up to my room instantly, we needed to get over and done with our discussion, he followed me reluctantly without a word and when we were finally in my room still no word said.

I took a seat on my bed and he stood by the window as usual waiting for me to start conversation.

Seeing as I didn't say he think, he walked to my side kneeling in front of me.

"Bella do you have any idea what you're asking me to do" he said, man did he look vulnerable, cute and innocent.

"Jake you're acting like I'm some villain trying to steal your virtue or something" I said taking his face in mine.

"Its dangerous" he simply said.

I pulled him up to my bed on top of me and whispered

; "Try, lets try, whats the worst that could happen"

"I could hurt you" he said before we drift off into each others arms kissing and caressing him, he was pulling back I could tell, I could hear the gasps every now and then between us until a growl ripped through his mouth, I pulled back and he sat back turning his back to me.

He was breathing hard.

I tried to touch him but I was too afraid to by the way he was shaking, it must've been an adrenaline rush for him which meant he would morphe any minute.

His breathing started to even so I got up from the bed and knelt in front of him.

His face was hidden under his mascular arms.

I pushed myself in his arms with great effort and we sat in the embrace quite long without a word. After a while I heard charlie's car pull up.

Our embrace broke, we got up at the same time.

He picked up his shirt. I was busy closing mine, he helped.

When we were done he moved to the door I still couldn't read his expression.

" I should get going" he said

" I'm sorry" I said

"don't be, I love you remember that" he said

we embraced again.
