Chapter 12- Heirarchy

Jakes POV

I really wasn't certain about trusting Edward with my girlfriend afterall they had a long history whereas with me we only had months. But I promised to get along with him only for Bella's sake but I'm not letting my guard down I dont trust leeches afterall they suck the blood right out of you and there was the thing with him wanting Bella's blood, which made it hard for him to stay away from Bella.

After the party was basicaly ruined by Edwards arrival most of everyone left and I was left with Bella, I appreciated her efforts at making me this party, I really did.

I love Bella alot theres no doubt about it, but the thing that worried both her and I and most of the pack members was the impenting imprint thing that we wolfs do which is uncontrolable, it is possible that I might have to leave Bella oneday because of it but until then( I'm hoping I never have to imprint) I'll make her the happiest girl in all of Forks.

"Jake, you've been really quiet, whats going on?" I heard Bella cut through my train of thought.

I've been zoning out a lot since that bastard of a leech came back from wherever it is he was, his arrival brought a lot of life thinking, like if it was fair for me to hold Bella from living a normal life- well as "normal" as it gets.

"Nothing beautiful, just thinking" I replied kissing her forehead.

Her forehead wrinkled with worry proving she was not buying it. she chewed on her lower lip, a nervous habit she was adapting.

"don't worry too much loca, its not good for you" I said, moving her hair out of her face.

"Is it Edward, he isn't bothering you again is it, because-

"It's not, c'mon let me take you home Charlie's probably worried sick about you at home"

I helped up from the bed, after a really really hot make out sesson where I had to beat Bella off with a stick-metaphorically, she wouldn't quit, this girl is something else.

We made opur way out of my room, kicking up the plastic cups and all the party parafenalia and quitely made our way to the garage where my bike was parked.

"What's going on Jake, you been trying to avoid us" Sam growled when I met up with them again later infront of Bella's house, today was my day to keep watch since there was still a vampire out there after Bella, that crazy reheaded Vampire afterall Edward had killed James , her  supposed boyfriend.

"Edwars back" I stated, they all knew how much i hated that guy, besides the fact that he is a vampire.

"That doesn't excuse you from your duties, Bella's life is in danger, worry about that, Victoria could come at her anytime and we need to be prepared" he bellowed his conquest.

'I'm sorry Sam, guys, I'll be more carefull"

I'm sick and tired of taking orders fro this fony, oneday, he'll see,

I'm the Grandson of Ephraim Black, passed leader of the Quileute pack, which makes the rightful leader of this pack.

he'll see, they all would see.

Right now all that matters is Bella's safety.
