"Ana?" She asked and I looked at her.

"I actually don't need any help with clothes, you taught me well," I winked at her then got serious again. "Give me your hand."

She did as I asked and I guided it to my stomach. Her eyes widened when she felt the fluttering and she squealed, hugging me and then pulled me over to sit on the bed, eyes wide.

"Do you know if it's a girl or a boy?"

"No idea how to even tell the difference seeing as that I've only had a boy so far."

"Does Daniel know?"

"No, but I think he'll figure it out. I did tell Todd this morning."

"Does he even understand you?"

"Yes because he laughed and hugged me right after I told him."

"Why are you telling me all of this? Why not mom, she's been through this. Hell, she's going through this."

"Yeah, but I thought you'd want to know first and I want the pregnancy to be a surprise for as long as possible." I told her and she hugged me again, being careful of my stomach. She laid her hand on my belly again and laughed when the fluttering tickled her palm.

"Oh, Ana, I'm so happy for you! And thank you for letting me in on the secret!"

"No problem. Another thing, during my last pregnancy, I was wearing baggy shirts and sweatpants during the entire month," I said and her nose wrinkled in disgust. "So I want your fashion advice this time."

"Yes! Hell yes!" She exclaimed and squeezed me tight.

We walked back out to the living room, where everyone was joking and laughing. Courtney planted a kiss on my cheek then walked to go sit on the couch and Daniel came forward.

"What was that all about?" He asked loudly and I saw Courtney glance up at us.

"Nothing, I just asked her to go shopping with me soon," I answered and smiled down at her. "She says I need new clothes because the ones I have won't work together."

"Yeah, it was horrid!" She exclaimed, wrinkling her nose, playing the part perfectly. I laughed and she turned back to Todd. We talked all afternoon about town gossip and I was across the room from Todd when he spoke for the first time.

"Mommy!" He shouted and came running over to me.

I froze and slowly turned to face him, his arms stretching up to me. Bending down, I picked him up and he wrapped one arm around my neck, resting his head on my shoulder. Everyone had frozen when he spoke and I took a deep breath, realizing that this was just side affect of his speedy growth.

"Yes honey?" I asked him and he raised his head, pointing to his mouth.

Nodding, I excused myself from the room and walked back to Todd's bedroom. As I fed him, I watched him and thought about how I'd have to set down rules before going out anywhere with him.

"Todd, I'm going to go shopping with Aunt Courtney soon and I'm not sure what Daddy will be doing, so you have to come with me," I told him and he burped, finished with his lunch.

"Mommy?" He asked, looking at my face.

"You need to know something, not all kids are like you. Grandma was right, you're a special boy. Kids your age can't talk, or walk, or even sit up by themselves. When I take you with us, you have to just lie in my arms and cry out when you want something, okay?"

He nodded and I smiled, hugging him. Turning around, I saw Daniel in the doorway, watching us. I smiled at him and placed Todd on the ground, then fixed my shirt. Todd ran to him and stretched his arms up, but Daniel didn't notice him, he was staring at me.
