"I'm hungry," He said when my eyes opened. "And not for food."

"Me too," I muttered and he smiled, pulling me closer to him. He kissed me before he stood up, setting me on my feet too. He shoved me to the bathroom and I laughed, then turned around and wrapped my arms around his waist.

Slowly, his arms wrapped around me too, but one hand reached into the shower, and turned on the water, then he smiled and shoved me towards it. I kept my arms securely locked around him, refusing to let go, until he poked me in my ribs and I squealed. He walked out of the bathroom and closed the door behind him, holding it closed from the other side.

"Fine!" I shout through the door and stripped out of my remaining clothes.

The shower was nice and I quickly washed my hair and body, then shaved, and finally stepped out, turning off the water and wrapping a towel around me. I walked out to find Daniel sitting on the bed and realized that he had taken a shower in the other bathroom, but I went to the dresser and pulled out a sweater and jeans.

"You're going to wear that?" He asked and I smiled, pulling the clothes on.

"You sound like Courtney."

"Who sounds like me?" Courtney asked, walking into the room, her baby boy in her arms.

"Daniel does," I answered and released the hairbrush, but watched as it continued to brush through my hair, and turned to Courtney. "What are you doing here?"

"Daniel called me," She said, her eyes narrowed on the brush. "Said we were going to a movie, and then shopping."

"Shopping, eh?" I asked, shooting a glance at him, but he shrugged.

"Yeah, so quit... brushing your hair? Come on!"

"Okay, okay!"

I snapped my fingers and the brush dropped into my outstretched palm. Then I set it on the dresser and followed her out of the room, Daniel right behind me. She walked out the front door and I looked in the living room to see her boyfriend, Kyle, sitting in the middle of the room, playing with all the kids.

Daniel pulled me to his car and Courtney shot him a smile before ducking into her car, and starting the engine, Johnathon already buckled in his seat. Sinking into the passenger side, I watched as Daniel settled in and started the car. I crossed my arms over my chest, frowning at him and he looked at me with surprise.

"What's going on?" I demanded.

"A surprise," He answered and backed out of the driveway, following Courtney's little black Mercedes to the town cinema.

"I hate surprises!" I whined and he chuckled.

"This one is good, and worth the waiting. I promise!"

"Better be," I grumbled and turned to stare out the window for the entire ride.

We got to the theater and I stomped inside, and waited for them. Right outside the door, they stopped and talked for a long time. I was about to go out and ask what was going on when I heard some whistles from behind me.

"Hey, Ana!" A voice calls out and I groaned inwardly, but planted a smile on my face, and turned around.

"Nathan?" I asked, faking shock. He grinned broadly and walked forward, engulfing me in a hug, then released me and stepped back.

"Wow, he was right," He murmured, looking at my face.

"Who was right and what were they right about?"
