I'm here attending a party again for my parents.

I'm wearing an off shoulder top magenta long gown with sequences hanggang sa baywang. I'm also wearing a Prada silver stilettos. A dangling earrings and necklace with snowflake pendant from Tiffany & Co.

I really hate this gathering because I'm surrounded by strangers talking about their own business. They are such people who are called "wallflowers". But I'm not a flower at all.

The CEO of Renacejas Inc. is also here. Yung kasosyo nila mommy.

"Hollie, entertain the guests." Mommy ordered as she gestured to Trevor's direction. Trevor was busy talking to his colleagues.

Sinunod ko yung sabi ni mommy at pinuntahan si Trevor.

His companions looked at me when I was nearing them. Trevor also looked behind him because one of his companions gestured my arrival.

"Hollie. Long time no see!" Trevor smiled at me. Nginitian ko din siya pabalik.

"Yes. I miss talking to you too, Trevor. Mommy said I should talk to you."

"About what?" Nakakunot-noo namang tanong ni Trevor.

Umalis naman yung kausap niya kanina to give us privacy. Well, wala naman kaming importanteng pag-uusapan.

They already left us. I guess it's okay.

It's not really too awkward to leave us alone together since sanay naman kaming maiwan na nag-uusap sa isa't isa. Every party or gathering yan.

Napatawa naman ako sa itsura niya habang nakakunot-noo. "Look at you looking cute when you're confused." I sighed and made a face. "But, the truth is, I'm uncomfortable in this place. The tension in the air is big. Parang hindi ako makahinga. Am I too weird?"

"No. You're pretty." Trevor chuckled.

"Bolero ka talaga. So how's your business going, Trev?" I asked, this time I looked serious.

"Well... It's stressful and sometimes pain in the ass. But it's fun and I'm surviving for the sake of the company."

Tumango-tango ako. Tumingin naman si Trevor sa akin.

"How about you? How's your life going?"

"Still the same. No changes at all. Still loving the same music I loved before and forever will love!" Trevor laughed. Trevor knows my love for BLUE X-RAY's music.

"Let me guess... You are still addicted to same old BLUE X-RAY band. You're living your life to your heart's content. Bravo for that, Hollie. I'm happy for you. You are free to do whatever you want to do with your life. But I'm tied to my responsibilities." Trevor look saddened.

I tried to convince him that I'm not also living my life the way I want it to be.

"Well, we are the same. I'm living my life with my own responsibilities. As the sole heiress of the Cordelia's." I gave him a sad expression, too. Trevor held both of my hands to show his concern.

Suddenly the room was black. Merong makasisilaw na spotlight ang palibot-libot sa buong silid. The spotlight illuminated the room. And stopped to where Trevor and I were standing. I looked confused.

The people are clapping their hands at us.

"Huh?" I said, absent-mindedly.

"Why are they clapping at us?" Tanong ni Trevor sa akin. Nagkibit-balikat lang ako.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Good Evening! I'm very happy to stand here in front of you to announce the merging of two companies..." Ani mommy. The guests were silent and anticipates what mommy will say next. "Which will happen because of the engagement of Trevor Renacejas and my daughter, Hollie Cordelia. Congratulations to the both of them!"
