Hinatid ako ni Trevor pauwi ng bahay.

After that awkward kiss, we didn't dare talked about it when we are in the car.

"Good night." He said while smiling at me.

"Thank you Trev. I owe you one." I smiled at him at isinara na yung pintuan ng kotse niya. Umalis na din siya pagkatapos nun.

Papasok na sana ako ng gate nang may bumisina sa akin na isang kotse na kulay blue.

I should just ignore it ngunit bago pa ako makaalis sa kinatatayuan ko ay nasa harapan ko na ang kotse at parang slow motion ang pagbaba ng windshield ng kotse.

Guess what? The person I shouldn't see is here...

"Ryne... What..."

Hindi na ako nakapalag nang bumaba siya sa kotse niya at pinagbuksan ako ng pintuan sa front seat.

"Get in."

Sumunod nalang ako sa gusto niya. Ayaw ko na makita kami ni mommy o ng bodyguard niya dito sa labas.

"What are you doing near my house? Alam mo ba na magagalit si mommy sa akin?" I said while putting my seat belt on.

"Like hell I care." Bigla niyang binilisan yung pagmamaneho niya.

"You. What are you implying? Pupuntahan mo ako to tell me this. Let me out of your car!" I shouted at him. I tried to open the door but he child-locked me inside his car!

I glared at him. "Why are you doing this to me? Akala mo masaya ako sa sitwasyon ko, Ryne? I'm doing this for my parents! Please understand me... I can't lie to you..."

He didn't respond until the car stopped and screeched. Napapikit ako sa sobrang gulat. Nang nagmulat yung mata ko ay nakatingin si Ryne sa akin. I do not know what he was thinking giving me that scare. Akala ko maaaksidente na kami!

He looked at me and my vulnerability. He looked down, closed his eyes, sighed. Then when he opened his eyes again it looked like he calmed down. Galit na galit siya kanina nang sinundo niya ako. Buti naman kasi ayaw kong kausap yung taong galit sa akin.

"I don't want you hanging around with that guy, Hollie. Please call off your engagement... I can't bear to lose you like this..." Ryne with his pleading eyes.

I pursed my lips before I answered him. "I can't call off my engagement to Trevor. Mommy will be disappointed with me, Ryne. I can't bear to be a burden and disappointment to my family. Please understand..." I looked at my feet. Nagbabadya na namang tumulo yung luha ko sa aking mga mata pero pinigilan ko yun.

Nauna si Ryne sa paglalakad. Nakasunod naman ako kasi sobrang tahimik na naman ni Ryne.

Dinala niya ako sa isang park na kung saan walking distance lang mula sa kotse niya. Sa playground kami huminto malapit sa cemented slide.

"Ryne... Please talk to me. I don't wanna feel the silent treatment again..."

Napalingon siya sa akin nang nakataas ang kaliwang kilay. "I just want you to break the engagement of yours. Is that really too hard for you to fulfill, Hollie?" Seryosong sabi niya.

"Yes, it is very hard Ryne! What you are asking... I can't give it to you... Please... Kaunting unawa naman oh. My world does not only revolve around you anymore. I have mommy and daddy and also Trevor and the Renacejas now. I can't possibly turn my back against them..." I looked at his eyes. Hurt and pain was evident. I feel guilty. Nanghihina ako.
