My mother's bodyguard always tags along with me. I mean literally tag along everywhere I go.

And I hated it.

I'm not used to this situation. Nasanay ako na parating invisible sa mga magulang ko.

This is not what I want to happen.

Mamaya ay may date kaming pupuntahan ni Trevor. To talk about the future nuptials.

Hindi pa din nagsi-sink in sa akin na magiging asawa ko si Trevor. We are strangers in this arrangement. I'm only 17 years old and now I'm undergoing an arranged marriage. 

Kasama ko yung bodyguard ni mommy to drive me to the steak restaurant where Trevor and I should date.

Pi-nark na nung bodyguard yung kotse sa parking area ng resto. Lumabas na ako ng kotse at naunang naglakad papunta sa resto.

Pinagbuksan din ako ng bodyguard ni mommy ng pintuan papasok sa resto. Nanatili sa labas yung bodyguard at isinara na yung pintuan.

Nilibot ko ang paningin ko para hanapin kung nasaan si Trevor. Nakita ko naman siya na tumayo nang nakita ako. Naglakad ako papunta sa ni-reserve niyang upuan para aming dalawa.

He held the chair for me and after doing so he sat across me.

"Hollie, I hope you don't mind but I already ordered for us." I looked at him confused. " Your mother already told me what you liked. I'm sorry." Trevor looked apologetic.

"It's okay. I know you are just looking out for me..." I sighed. Trevor was looking at me intently as if finding my hidden dilemma.

Mukhang nag-aalala din si Trevor sa akin. Halata na ba na ayaw ko 'tong gawin pero kailangan?

"I know you are not fine with this sudden arrangement. I already told my father that if you're unsure about this I can help you cancel the arranged marriage for the both of us." Trevor held my hand. I just looked at his hand but I never dared let go of his warm hand.

"Thank you, Trevor. I feel grateful for your concern. But I have to do this. This is the only time that mommy asked something from me. I shouldn't disappoint her." I smiled at him. But I know that smile didn't show my true feelings.

"You can count on me, Hollie. I won't force you to do anything for me. I'm also your friend. Think of me as an ally not an enemy." Tumango lang ako kay Trevor.

Great timing naman kasi dumating na yung inorder niya para aming dalawa.

As we eat, we continue to have conversations. When he mentioned Ryne's name. Napaubo ako at binigyan naman agad niya ako ng tubig.

"Are you okay?" Ryne asked. Tumango naman ako.

"Ryne is part of your favorite boyband, BLUE X-RAY, isn't he? Why did he give you that necklace?" He asked curiously and stopped to see me shudder.

How did he know about that necklace? Madilim ang lugar kung saan ibinigay ni Ryne sa akin yun. Paano niya nakita yun?

"He gave it to me as a gift." Patay-malisya kong sagot sa tanong niya.

"Hmmm... Really?" Trevor put his fingers in his chin as he looked at my expression.

"Yes..."

"Okay. I'm really sorry if that made you uncomfortable. I'm just curious as to why a member of that BLUE X-RAY band give you a special necklace. I have to know if he has feelings for you. So that I can take it into consideration for our future nuptials. I hope you don't mind me asking."
