Dedicated to ^ for not only cheering me up since my cat died, even if he didn't mean too, but also giving her the attention she really deserved. I love her so much, and it hurts a lot that she's gone.
Making It Big Time
Good Riddance
As soon as the ring from the doorbell echoed in their ears, Marina let out an earsplitting screech. Mimi and Rachel covered their ears, wishing they had a couple ear plugs for each one. Both girls knew that what happened next wasn’t going to be pretty. As everyone who was close to Marina knew, she absolutely loathed and despised stuck up rich, jerky, whorey snobs. Which was exactly what Alex Kandz was.
Growling, Marina stalked over to the door. Not wanting to even open the door, she grabbed the key hanging by the door to lock it. However, Alex had already noticed her figure shadowing by the door. Grinning like the idiot he was, he marched right into the house uninvited. That just set Marina off even more.
“Get the freak out of my house,” She hissed menacingly at him.
Alex tried not to act to affected by the menace in her voice, but that was difficult to do. Whether or not he admitted it, deep in the pit of his stomach, he knew he was terribly frightened by this deranged girl. Keeping a straight face on, he replied, “I think I rather not.”
Marina tried to pounce on him, but Mimi and Rachel held her back with all their might. Harassment charges did not need to be the first thing on her record. Alex took a step back. This girl seemed so sweet to everybody else, so what did he do wrong?
Max came pounding the stairs with Kasey close on his heels. Both had half their clothes on, trying to finish redressing. Kasey’s face was flushed and her hair ruffled. However, Max looked rather nonchalant for just being interrupted from a bed business. Alex look confused as he comprehended the situation. He was pretty sure Kasey was his girlfriend, but he didn’t exactly keep track. It wasn’t as if he was affected. No one was stupid enough not to notice that Kasey was a cheating slut. Not that he wasn’t the same.
“What the hell are you doing here?” Max and Kasey demanded at the same time. Kasey was worried that he would get upset at her, but wanted a fight to start. She loved when men fought each other for her attention.
“Um, I got into trouble with the Paparazzi, so I decided to drop by my best friend’s house because she is my best friend, “He offered, moving over to throw an arm around Marina, who was still tied up by her friends.
“Like hell you are,” Marina rolled her eyes.
Mimi shook her head, “Sorry Max, Mr. I’m-So-Famous decided to bother Marina again.”
Rachel giggled a little at that. Though it wasn’t the complete truth, she knew that even if it was partially correct, Max would go into the role that her father would normally took. Her assumptions were correct. The size of Max’s eyes shrunk into slits like a lizard. Marina saw it, and even she was a little unnerved. Even if she despised this celebrity, he didn’t deserve that much of a punishment.
“Max, calm down. Mimi just over exaggerated it. He’s fine, just leave him alone and get back to your…um….thing,” Marina intervened.
Alex sent her a grateful glance. He had heard of her brother’s defensiveness for her, and his violent processions. However, Max was still unsure of the matter. He didn’t want anything influencing his little sister after three years ago. Even since them, he watched her like a hawk.
