Oh, it is one day late:( I'm sorry. I went to visit my grandfather in the hospital, and he was really depressed so I stayed longer than usual. He looked like he wanted to give up and die, to join my grandmother in Heaven:( Pretty depressing.

Then, I was forced to do the unthinkable...yard work. Evil stuff, I know. Especially, all thost bugs in the dirt. Shiver!

The right is a picture of the actor who will play Kasey. She was in that episode of Modern Family where Hailey and the nerdy girl ( I forgot her name again lol) break into the school and vandalize it:)

Anyways, please let me know how you think the story is going alone.

Chapter 6

“Um, places and school, and I took a little longer than normal to walk home from school,” Marina helplessly tried to explain to Max.

“That’s a shitty excuse, and you know it. I’m your brother; I need to where you are. With Mom and Dad visiting Aunt Sue after her recovery, I don’t want anything to happen to you,” Max begged.

She sighed, “Mimi and I had a fight about something. Then, when I was walking home, Darren cornered me.”

Max was slightly confused. Marina in a fight? Marina talking to Darren? He knew something happened between the two a three years ago, but not exactly what. Despite being in the dark, he helped his sister avoid him at all costs lately. He trusted his sister’s judgment and let her make her own decisions. However, the small smile on her lips led him to think that something had changed. He wasn’t sure what he thought of it yet.

“And that took you 2 hours?” Max asked.

“Um, the movie auditions. I didn’t chicken out like you expected. I think, I think I got it. Ty said he was posting call backs tomorrow,” She admitted.

Smiling, Max hugged his little sister. He knew that she used to love the stage, but recently, she flinched from the sight of one. Deep down, he was certain that Marina still wanted to be that girl who was always on the stage, however scared she seemed to be.

“I’m impressed. We are ordering Pizza Hut’s cheese-filled crust with cheese-filled bread sticks to celebrate,” He announced.

Marina giggled. She absolutely loved cheese, but her brother hated it. “I love you,” She joked.

An hour later, both were munching on their food watching nonsense TV. It was sibling bonding time, something both of them valued a lot. Not a lot of brothers and sisters were as close as they were. As high school came, their relationship became greater instead of weaker. Strange, but everyone could see that they were not like normal siblings.

“I think that we should watch something with an extremely attractive male in it,” Marina commented, flicking through the channels.

“As long as there are hot chicks in bikinis, I’m all for it,” Max chuckled in reply.

“But you know that most of the time, the girls are total snobs and bimbos,” she retorted, laughing.
