"We've come once more to the end of another spectacular year of Games! Not only was this our best turnout yet, but it also succeeded all our expectations! To prosperity and health in the coming year," chimed Victinius, eager to wave around his champagne glass. "And now, by popular demand, we have special awards to commemorate those fallen before we release the final results."

The Dark Horse:

Awarded to the tribute who I never had seen before these games, and managed to consistently impress me throughout the games, even making it all the way to SemiFinals, it's my biggest congratulations to award the underdog award to District Seven's, Aspen Summers [TheShineOfTheMoon].

Reverse Dark Horse:

Next up is the complete opposite of the first award: the tribute who died early on that I expected to make it far. From the forms to the writer themselves, it's safe to say that District Two's, Allion Lapine, and District Nine's, Wirrina Thrym [lostwithmyfriends] take home the Reverse Dark Horse award. Congrats, I think?

RUNNER UP: Hermia Palentinius [ariel-lannister]

Best District:

A difficult choice as all District partners were dead by Task Six, this award nonetheless goes to District Eleven, Therese "Tess" Borde and Jeffrey R. Beers.

Best Name:

Impossibly clever and pun-filled so that it was a focus in several entries, District Nine's Follin Ryme [ShayTree] was no doubt the cleverest of them all, as Fallin' Follin was a staple to the humor in these Games. Saying that though, there was a secondary name in which began as a joke, but worked so well that it was easy for one to forget it's an actual author, so a joint congratulations to Leo Tolstoy of District Five [katniss-everdeen].

RUNNER UP: Jeffrey R Beers [Clara-impossible]

Best Entry:

A difficult award to give. No twelves were awarded until private scores, but to judge past Quarters would not only be incredibly difficult to single out an entry, but also because I hope all of them know just how wonderful their entries were. Saying that, from the first time I read this entry, as this was indeed the first task, I fell in love with not only the character but the writing. A wonderful backstory that developed and weaved its way through with precision all the way until the end, this award is presented to District Nine's Follin Ryme for Task One: Ab Initio.

The 'Sierra' Award for Procrastination:

This author is consistent, at least in the fact he seems to win nearly every one of these awards. Named aptly for the one person who gave him a run for his money, this award goes to the tribute who handed in typically with less than ten minutes to spare (though managed three hours before the deadline once!). A commendable effort(?) for giving me a heart attack goes out to District Eight's Roscoe Wayland [TheDarkHorse].

Best Form

This award goes to the tribute with the most intriguing form who hasn't been commended otherwise in these awards. This tribute had one of the most interesting personalities, and the runner-up had one of the most interesting backstories. Congratulations Jacqueline "Jackie' Ecclestone [WhovianHorseLover]!

RUNNER UP: Jeffrey R. Beers [Clara-impossible].

And that's it! Congratulations all of you. It's been a pleasure having every one of you compete! Results are still pending for five more hours, due to issues needing to get resolved, so if you haven't voted yet, go out and do it!
