~JAIME'S POV~
It had been two days since the party. Two days since Ryder left. And two days Since I tried to remember Collins. My brain was remembering him slowly. His name was Derek Collins, he went to school with me, and I saw him everyday. A part of my life was completely blocked out of my head, as if I wasn't allowed access to it.
The weekend passed quickly. Jake ordered me to say in bed for my whole Sunday and he even made me skip school yesterday. It's now Tuesday and I'm trying to find Derek, he might have the answers I need.
I walked down the hall and searched for him. A picture came to my mind. It was of him, he had hazel eyes, mostly green. His eyes reminded me of Ryder.
I winced at the thought of his name, there was a slight pain in my arm as soon as I thought of him. Yet another question appeared. Why did Ryder cause my body to ache? The slightest thought of him and I would feel stabbed.
I couldn't remember Derek's scent yet. That made my search all that more difficult. However, I can still remember that other bastard, David. I knew they were really close and almost always together. All I had to do was search for a moonlight scent, perhaps slightly mixed with cheap perfume from Amanda.
I passed his locker, his stench was rubbed all over it. It wasn't long that he was here. I followed the trail but my search had to end. The morning bell rung and it caused me to jump slightly at the panic I received from its loud echoing noise.
"Damn bell." I mumbled. I walked to my class with my ears covered.
"I hope you all finished your projects." my teacher stated on cue as I opened the door. Projects? I looked around the class. There seemed to be a small house on everyones desk. The doll house project! How could I forget. I spent my my Friday looking for Brewyn's architect mate but I couldn't find her anywhere. I even tracked down their house but they weren't there. I could smell dust on the other side of the front door though, as if someone haven't cleaned in a while.
I took a seat in the back. There was a small trio gathered at the corner. David, Amanda, and Derek. I jumped at the sight of Derek Collins, he might have answers. It was strange, looking for someone you don't really know. But it gave me a feeling of curiosity to see who this person was.
They were all talking amongst themselves. Completely ignoring the teacher. I leaned in closer to where Derek sat.
"Derek. Derek!" I whisper-yelled. He only ignored me."I need to talk to you." I whisper-yelled at him again. After many futile attempts to gain his attention he turned around angrily.
"Do I know you?" he asked coldly. I retreated my body from leaning closer to him.
"You don't remember me too? I thought I was the only one." I said. If he couldn't remember me either then he didn't have answers.
"What the hell is up with you?" he said in a icy tone.
"What do you mean?" I asked confused.
"You know what I mean, first you tell me to forget you ever existed and now your crawling back!" he said angrier than before. He wasn't whispering anymore.
"Mr. Collins, do you have something to share with the rest of the class?" the teacher said with her eyebrow raised.
"No, mam." he said leaning back into his seat. He faced his desk and took his attention away from me.
Memories of the cave came back to me. He was standing behind me, touching me with his bare arms. I pushed him off, yelling at him and finally walking out of the mysterious cave. That's what he was talking about.
