It's been three months since I arrived at the orphanage. I have seen girls come and go really fast. Sofia and I stayed together.
We became really sad, because two of our friends are going to a much bigger orphanage. It was Miley and Ms. Clive. It means we get a new caretaker.
I did not like the new caretaker. There was only one. Ms. Tono was mean and she put us to work. She was acting like..... My dad.
After a year had gone by I was pretty much her target. I am now 7. I try to keep my 4 year old cousin safe from her. I was pretty much taking the pain all over again. I did as told. I just stood there when she did hit me. While the other kids were running I stood in place. She told me that I was worthless and that I will never get adopted.
When a couple walks through that door all the kids go wild and start asking them to take them. I have tried so hard for Sofia to get adopted. I've even placed her right by the front door. They just walk right past her. Months and months went by. I have seen girls come and go faster then you can say boo.
