Chapter 9 Meeting PTX

Faith P. O. V

     We got into the car and I climbed into the back seat. I saw another female in the driver seat. "Hello, I'm Kirstie." "Hi" I replied really shyly. "I'm Avi BTW. This is my sister Esther." "Hi" I repeated shyly. "So tell us about yourself" Esther said out of nowhere.

     I am like scared right now. I don't know them. I don't want to tell them about my past. I don't trust anyone. I smiled and said "What would you like to know?"

Kirstie P. O. V

     I can tell that Faith was scared. So I stand by, talking to her some. Maybe ask her a few questions. You know, getting on her good side. Get to know each other.

Esther P. O. V

     Faith stayed quiet all the way to her new home. I just hope Scott, Mitch, and Kevin don't jump on her when she walks in the door.

Faith P. O. V

     I was in the back seat of the car. I tried to stay quiet, but they kept on asking questions. I answered them cause I didn't want to know what the punishments were.

     When we arrived at the house I got more scared. "What kind of torture do they have in store for me" I thought to myself. I wanted to run away, but I didn't want them to start thinking.

     We are here. I took a deep breath. I walked through the door and the first thing I laid eyes on.... was a hairless cat. I didn't ask questions or run. I just stared at him. Until I was interrupted by a tall blond man. "Hey guys, did our adopted child come?" he asked walking down stairs. That's when I ran. I ran into Avi who caught me by surprise. "You okay?" Avi asked. "Yes" I replied.

Scott P. O. V

     Mitch, Kevin, and I were talking about how a child would be great. How our child was going to act. I heard the door open and I knew they were back.

     I can hear the girls and Avi talking, but I didn't hear a child's voice. I went downstairs and asked "Hey guys, did our adopted child come?" After I saw her and she saw me she ran into Avi. That's when I did a softer approach.

Scott: Hello, I'm Scott.

Faith: Faith (in a really shy voice)

Scott: Its okay. Don't be scared. We will protect you.

Faith P. O. V

     Scott did say he will protect me. I don't trust anyone. I heard too many lies in my past. I don't know what to believe.

     After the conversation I had with Scott I saw a black man and a smaller man with black hair, walking down the stairs. They told me that they are Kevin and Mitch.

     I took a look at the hairless cat again. Mitch picked him up (ew, how can he do that) and told me his name is Wyatt.

     My new family showed me around the house. I saw a cute dog in a big backyard. Kirstie said "this is my dog O'laf."

     Then they took me to my new room. It was big. It had a king size bed, the biggest closet ever, a flat screen TV that comes out of the drawer, and a big window where I can see the stars. I love my new room.
