Never Let Go

When I was about to end my miserable life

You came so unexpectedly to save me from my strife

And you made me laugh, dream, and be myself again

When I met you, my real journey to happiness began

When I’m with you, I remembered what it was like to be free

You’ve brought back what I’ve lost deep inside me

You gave me hope and the reason to live despite what everyone would say

You showed me how to be happy and grateful for each and every loving day

You made me realize that I can do whatever I want and just be what I wanted to be

You opened my eyes to the whole world beyond mine that I didn’t see

I’ve always thought that life was so cruel and unfair or maybe even ruthless

But you gave me a different meaning I never imagined was so much priceless

You were always there for me whenever I need your company

You never failed to give my each day a new and different harmony

You know that meeting you every day was like facing another extraordinary adventure

And I may not understand why but it seemed like you are my only treasure

I feel safe and secured when you hold me in your arms

Knowing that you’ll do anything to protect me from any harm

That’s why I feel overwhelmed when I’m inside and around your embrace

And I see you when I look into your beautiful quite like the angel’s face

When I’m losing my grip and I can’t hold on, you were there never letting me go

When I jump, you jump after me to make sure I’m alright and for that I know

That you always got my back when I’m standing alone on a battle ground

My soul was revived and my spirit was enlightened when you came around

Without you, I don’t know if I could still bear any pain to survive and carry on

Because you are the reason why I have found the courage to walk on a new direction

Even the stars could never defy us because they have seen that our love was true

But our doomed fate hit us between the eyes and all the way through

From that moment, destiny has kept us apart

And when you were hurt, I felt I was stabbed deeply right in the heart

Time run fast and I was afraid that in any second I could lose you forever

But you said that I should go on and someday we would still be together

No matter what happens, I promise to never let go and to always wait for you

Because I know that somewhere up there you’re waiting for me, too
