"Feels good, huh?" Kian laughs at my sudden relaxation
"Where did you learn to massage feet like this?" My words almost sound like groans because of how wonderful it feels to have the pain taken away from my aching feet
"Acacia." Kian giggles
"Not funny kian." I scowl
"Oh c'mon babe. We've been together for two whole months; I thought you'd be over the acacia thing by now." Kian stops touching my feet but I nudge him so he continues
"I am. I'm just joking." I grab my phone. "You know I thought I'd be the one that gets upset over the little things considering I'm seven months pregnant. You seem more hormonal than me."
"You know why." Kian shrugs
"Not all friendships last." I say while dialing the nearest sushi place. "If Jc can't accept your past mistakes than he's not really your fri-"
"Hello, this is Shanti's Sushi. How can we help you?" The lady of the other line answers
"Really you're ordering food in the middle of our conversation?" Kian asks, removing his hands from my feet once again and standing up
"Hello?" The sushi lady calls out again
"Hi. I'd like to order two servings of California rolls, six tempura rolls, and three spider rolls."
The lady and I exchanged a few more details before I hung up and lifted myself up from the couch to join kian in the kitchen.
"Have you talked to Jack lately?" Kian asks while pouring himself a glass of orange juice
"No, and you know I don't want to talk about it. How about we talk about you for a change." I recommend
"Okay." Kian says with uncertainty in his voice
"Whats the real reason behind you not making videos anymore?"
"Andrea we've been over this-"
"No we haven't! I know you are using the 'don't have Jc or any money' excuse to cover up the real reason because when you started YouTube you didn't have either of those things."
"I made YouTube videos every week, sometimes two times a week, for a little under a decade." Kian takes in a deep breath. "I hate it. I hate it now. It's not fun, I ran out of ideas. I know you are going say 'what about the fans' or some shit but I don't really care about them and they don't really care about me!"
I begin to interject but kian continues.
"Face the damn facts Andrea! Your job isn't real! When the newest Andrea russett comes around all your fans are going to drop you from their lives and you won't have a job."
"Kian-"
"No! I'm going to get a real job. I'm going to become an actor. In real movies, not some fake youtube shit that gets 50,000 views."
Wow. I didn't know kian felt that way.
"Ok." I reply, not really knowing what to say
"I'm sorry." Kian shakes his head, obviously regretting what he said to me
"Don't be."
Kian moves closer to me and wraps his arms around my large waist.
"I love you."
Isn't it crazy how fast Kians' mood changes?"I love you too." I say to kian
If kian wants to be an actor, then he will be an actor. I can't stop him from doing what he wants to do.
I'm actually quite proud of him for stopping something that wasn't making him happy.
"I love you too." Kian kneels down so his head is level with my stomach
"Kian!" I practically yell when I feel a sharp pain near my belly button
Kian places his hand softly of my stomach and looks up at me.
"She's kicking." He grins
My baby girl is kicking :)
