A Life Like Ours (ON HOLD 3 CH LEFT)

3 Month Anniversary!

   12:00 am, the second I saw my clock I texted Luke, "HAPPY 3 MONTH ANNIVERSARY!, & I literally posted it on every social media I have.

12:01 am, he replies to every single post.

12:02 am, my phone rings.

"Happy 3 month Anniversary!" we both said at the same time & then started giggling. I don't know for how long we were talking, but it was one of the best nights of my life.

"So Nel, see you at school tomorrow. I'd love to talk more but if my dad finds out that I'm up at 1 in the morning, things are gonna get ugly," Luke said.

"It's already 1?! We've been talking for a whole hour! My mom & Noah are sound asleep & they probably don't care, but I don't want to get you in trouble with your dad! See you at school tomorrow," I said wistfully.

"Can't wait to see you, darling," he said.

"Same here, but it's late so Goodnight," I replied.

"Night Nel, & I love you"

"Love you too"

I hung up. I can't wait to see him tomorrow!

"Hey!" I screamed, waving at Luke. As soon as he saw me, he came over & engulfed me in a hug. I wanted to stay in his hug forever, but of course, just 10 minutes until school started, so nope.

"How did you sleep?" Luke asked me.

"Good, until my alarm decided to be a moron. And the fact that we were up till 1 talking really doesn't help." I said jokingly.

He laughed & kissed my cheek. "I have something for you!" he said.

"Aww C'mon! You know I don't like gifts!"

"Well too bad, as long as I'm alive, I'ma gonna gift rape you!" he smirked.

I resisted the urge to punch him.

Instead I settled on glaring at him. "NO!"

"You know you love me," he said grinning.

"I cry," he said in a fake sad tone. "But I don't care, I got you something."

"Your Evil!"I exclaimed. "But I love it. Also, whatever you got me can be your freaking gift today. You're taking it back home!"

"I'm not doing that darling, your gonna take the gift whether you like it or not!" he jokes.

"Can't force me!" I tease.

"Who says?" he tells me.

Before I have a chance to reply, he covers my eyes so tightly with his strong muscled arms, I can't even move!

"I can't see!" I complained.

"Yeah, you see Nel, that's the whole point of it. Also, your accepting this gift," he tries for seriousness but I'm pretty sure he's close to laughing.

"But I don't have anything for you," I tell him. "You could have at least told me you were bringing something."

"So you could have more time to decide how to say no to me? No way! Besides, you're gift enough for me."

"So are you," I say.

"I'm still giving you a gift," he says.

"Oh, you are sooooo stubborn! But okay, just this once. That is, if I can see after this, I guess I give up"

"In reality, I didn't think it would take you this long"

"Oh shut up. Take your hands off my eyes at least"

"Fine," he says laughing.

I open my eyes to 2 VIP tickets to my favorite band concert! I can't believe it!

"Oh My God, Luke! Thanks super much! I can't wait to go with you," I say gushing.

"Me either," he says. "But the bell just rang so lets get to class. Otherwise we will get detention & the concert'll get cancelled."

"That's not happening," I say firmly.

"Agreed," he says.
