Pete's point of view:

My head was spinning in confusion. The last thing I remember was running through the parking lot, and shortly after, being stabbed in the neck with a needle. I eventually woke up tied to a chair next to Patrick, Joe, Andy, and some girl who was bleeding from her head. They were all unconscious as well. I looked over to Patrick, and noticed he had several scratches and bruises on his face. I Especially noticed the gory black eye that was beginning to swell into a gruesome purple and brown color around his right eye. There were so many things going through my mind at this point. I had no idea where I was, or what was going on, but I had a feeling that it wasn't good.

"Pete... Long time, no see." A familiar voice boomed loudly from behind me. I jumped at the sudden echo. I purposely ignored the girl, and sat in my seat without saying a word. She slowly paced over to me and looked me in the eyes. Right away, I recognized her.

"Maddy?" I asked, realization slapping me across the face. She smiled slyly and nodded.

"You're clever, Pete." She laughed maniacally, and stood behind my chair.

"Listen, If you let us go now, I won't go to the cops." I pleaded.

"That's an offer I'm willing to take, Pete... But how do I know the other ones won't tell?" She smirked. I said nothing in response, and watched as she walked over to Patrick who was waking up from unconsciousness. He shook his head quickly and looked around the room.

"Pete? Wha- how'd you get here?" He groaned under his breath, squinting his eyes, trying to see through the lamp shining in his face.

"Patrick, dude, are you okay?" I exclaimed with a hoarse, raspy voice.

"I never said you could talk!" Maddy shouted loudly, raising her arm above her head, threatening to slap Patrick. He flinched and squeezed his eyes shut, but Maddy hadn't even laid a hand on him. It was almost like a mental reflex as if he had already been hit several times... and from the looks of the scars, scratches, bruises, and cuts, it seemed that Maddy had beaten him up before we had been kidnapped.

"You're a weakling." She mumbled under her breath with a chuckle.

"Don't fucking talk to him like that!" I screamed in anger.

"Aw look at you getting defensive, how adorable!" She laughed, with a sly smirk growing across her face.

"You're insane if think you can keep us here in the middle of nowhere!" I shouted, anger boiling inside of me. She looked me in the eyes, but didn't say another word as she picked up her car keys and her purse. She left the building, leaving us stuck on our own again. Patrick and I were the only ones conscious at this point. We sat there helplessly, and didn't say a word until I broke the silence.

"Patrick... what the hell is going on?" I asked, turning to him. He shook his head, not saying anything. "Dude, I'm serious! What is going on! I wasn't kidnapped in the middle of a parking lot for fun. There's a reason, just tell me!" I demanded. Patrick hesitated, and looked around the room to make sure Maddy had actually left. He sighed, opening his mouth to speak, yet nothing came out. "Patrick, seriously! We're in a major situation in case you didn't notice!"

"Pete! I don't know what's going on! All I know is that she kidnapped us for 'revenge'! That's all she told me! I don't know how else to explain it to you!" He exclaimed, shouting loudly. Then, I was silent for a moment, trying to think of what to do. It was hard to focus on much of anything. I couldn't help but to stare at the unconscious girl sitting next to Patrick. She had dried blood on her forehead, and her wrists and ankles were tied to the arms and legs of the chair she was sitting in. I looked at Patrick who had sweat all over his face from the hot bright lights. His face was glistening as if he were glowing.
