"Breakfast... " the last thing on my mind at that moment was breakfast but after receiving another growl from very rude tummy I quickened my pace. 'Wonder what's for breakfast' I thought bitterly still being able to feel the flames left my hand.
'That could've gone very differently... I could've seriously hurt someone. I need to learn how to get these flames under control. And here I was wondering if I would ever be able to coniure the flames again. Now I just need to figure out how to not conjure them' I thought frowning.
If only life was that easy...

Chapter 10
"Eww" I muttered watching the poor excuse of breakfast oats slip from my spoon and land with a disgusting shloep in my bowl. "Come on Airis it's not that bad" Tommy said. Though his slightly green face would suggest other wise. Tommy is the guy from yesterday and this morning. The same guy that extinguished my fire ball with water made from his hands... Jip still haven't really gotten over it.
"It's disgusting" I moaned pushing my bowl away whilst scrunching up my nose slightly, if I thought the the sight of the brown slop was disgusting then the smell was even worse. "It smells like dead rats!" I exclaimed holding back the urge to bring up whatever I had eaten the day before.
"Yeah it kinda does" he said a stupid smile on his face before he took another huge gulp of the stuff though this time I didn't miss the flinch he made at the taste. "Bet it tastes like rat too" I muttered staring at the poison hatefully. "Blegh" he moaned as he pushed his bowl away. "I think going hungry dor once might be a good thing..." He nuttered glaring at the disgusting slop. "Maybe they're trying to kill us?" I ask frowning.
Soon enough my glaring match with my bowl of food is interrupted.
"Hi, my names Analise" I heard a girly posh voice say from behind me followed by an overly girly giggle. 'Looks like the queen bee found me' I think rolling my eyes before placing a forced friendly smile on my face and turning to face her. Fake it till you make it.Rule number 5: Rather the enemy you know than the enemy you don't.
"Hi" I said the smile still in place. My cheeks hurt. I've never smiled this much before. "You're Airis Fox right? The girl they say is special?" She asked blinking at me with dark brown eyes. 'Like swamp mud' I thought in slight amusement. "I wouldn't know" I answered the forced smile slowely slipping from my lips. I've always hated it when people talk aboit me like I'm not a real person.
"Yes well whatever" she flipped her hair "I just wanted to tell you to stay out of my way... this is my school, know your place freak! It's at the bottom of the food chain" she said a smirk plastered across her face.
"Ok" I said shrugging. If staying out of her way means swing less of her then sign me up. 'Intimidation isn't her strong suit' I thought watching her as she turned on her heal and strutted away af is she owned the place."We'll see" I whispered feeling my hands heat up slightly and my body fill with sudden tingles. My eyes followed her as she made her way back to her seat, her group of girl friends following her like a lost herd of sheep. I wonder if they would just as willingly follow her into a fire as they worship the ground she walks on.
At her table I could see three guys all of them blonds. Triplets the only difference being the colour of their eyes. One blue, one brown and one green. The four girls that sat with Analise, were your stereotypical blonds. Too much face paint with matching bright red lips. And to think... I could've been like that. Cue the shudder...
As I turned back around to face Tommy, having grown bord of their spectacle, my eyes met those of a boy who sat, alone, in the far back of the hall. Ruffled snow white hair and hypnotic blue eyes that seemed to sway like the waves of the ocean. My heart beat grew wild and my veins felt like they were on fire. I even found it hard to breath...
His face gave away no emotion except of course for the slight lift of an eyebrow as we made eye contact. How could j feel so strongly of someone I dont even know the name of? With a sudden flash of confidence I flashed him a wink and a smirk before turning and smiling faintly at Tommy. I might've played that off nicely but without a doubt he had me hooked.
"So what class do you have first?" I asked reaching across the table, taking his cup and taking a sip of his orange juice. I hadn't taken a glass for myself fearing the juice to be the same as the food. Definitly better. And maube just maybe it'll drown the dragons in my stomach. Smiling at me Tommy pushed away his half full bowl and took out a crumbled piece of paper from his front pant pocket.
"Well for first class I have fitness with Mr. Davis. Next I have defence with Mr. Abraham. Third Is elemental theory with Miss Stone and lastly I have fourth as archery with Mr. Fog" he said eyeing his paper. Sighing deeply I shook my head slightly "We only have first and second together... For third I have dance with Miss Rose and fourth I have element Theory with Miss Stone" I muttered already knowing my schedule off my heart.
"That's a real shame" muttered Tommy before a smile lit up his face. "Can't really imagine you dancing though!" He burst into peaks of laughter, it must've been contagious for it wasn't much later that I joined him. I hadn't laughed like that in ages! It felt good to laugh again. In fact it felt good to be with somemone whom hadn't once judged me or looked at me funny. Realization struck me hard, maybe this won't be so bad, I might even like it here... I've already made one friend.
Unfortunitly our little laughing session was cut short when a voice spoke from behind me sending familiar chills up my spine. "Well if it isn't little Airis Fox, my dear little sister"
