Unfortunatley our little laughing session was cut short when a voice spoke from behind me sending familiar chills up my spine. "Well if it isn't little Airis Fox, my dear little sister"

Chapter 11

I know that voice! Gasping I spun in a circle before throwing my arms around his neck and gripping him in a bear hug. "Aros!" I mumbled my eyes filling up with happy tears though I kept them at bay. "Yes it's me" he said as he wrapped his arms around me just as tightly.

Releasing him from the hug I whiped my sweaty hands on my pants before turning to face Tommy who I'm sure felt really confused at the moment. "Tommy, this is my big brother Aros" I said gesturing to my brother, his face stoik as usual, though I could see a light pink blush covering his cheeks. I've never seen him blush before...?

"Aros this is Tommy originally Tomederson whom I've dubed Tommy" I said smiling as I saw Tommy's blush match my brothers as they held eye contact. "Hi" Tommy whispered, his eyes never leaving my brothers face. It was like he was trying to commit every detail to memory... Not that I would or could blame him I had heard the girls in town whispering of how Aros was the most handsome of my brothers. Not that they wver stood a chance.

"Well this is fun and all but uh... " I trailed off looking at my brother my forehead creasing slightly in confusion. "Why are you here?" I asked. "I took the seremony instead of Armus" he answered finally breaking eyes contact to stare at me. "Why?" I asked retaking my seat as I gestured for him to sit next to me.

"Well when I heard that you were one of the girls chosen I just had to... " he trailed off placing his hand over mine just like he had done when I was was still that little girl who was resentful about her differences instead of the girl I am today, the girl who is still learning appreciate her differences, her unique-ness.
"I knew I had to be chosen so I could be here with you... So that I could protect you" he went on to explain whilst shooting a quick glance as the still awestruck Tommy who, was might I add, was still blushing and hanging onto my brothers every word.

"And of course Armus was all too happy when I offered" he stated a smirk lighting up his face. Suddenly realisation struck "of course he would be" I muttered twirling a piece of my unbraided hair around my finger "that sounds exactly like something he would do... " I trailed off sighing. 'At least he came willingly...' I think as a stab of sadness pangs through my chest.

Our talk was interrupted by a deep church like bell going off throwing the whole hall into silence before everyone jumped up and made their way to the doors. "Well I guess that means class is about to start and I have fitness... " I mumbled standing sadly.

"When will I see you again?" I asked Aros aware of Tommy coming to stand by my side. "Well right now I have defence with Mr. Abraham and then fitness, if we don't have any classes together I'll find you in your dorm later... " he trailed off as he turned on his heel and made his way to the door where he joined a group of guys that looked to be the same age as him. Five boys in total as they stood leaning against the wall waiting for him to join them. This gave me the oerfect opportunity to scout their looks. I like to know what I'm getting myself into and with him being my brother we're bound to meet each others friends sooner or later...

Closest to the door stood a blond haired boy with a very lean build. Out of the whole group he seemed to be the tallest. I couldn't see his eyes from here but what I could see was the black tribal marking traveling up his left arm. It almost looks like a tree and a bear intertwined. Beautiful.

The boy next to him looked identical. The only difference was that he appeared to be almost a whole head shorter and was currently laughing his head off. A joker. He also didn't have the tattoo on his arm.
The next three boys were very hard to get a grasp on as they had formed a little circle and were currently frowning at each other as the one on the far right was saying something. I wish I knew what he was going on about...

"That is James" Tommy stated obviously following my line of sight. "The one thats talking at the moment" I nodded. "The onw next to him with the curly hair ja his younger brother Justin and the third one is their cousin Jake..." he trailed off as his tone grew slightly bitter. "Not a fan I take it?" I asked. "No..."

'Must be his friends' I thought absentmindly as I turned to Tommy my eyebrows raised in confusion. 'He didn't even ask where my dorm is or even what classes I have next' I thought frowning slightly.

"So what was that?" I asked as a coy smile is placed on my face. "What was what?" He asked acting confused. "That with my brother?" I'd rather focus of Tommy and how weird he is acting, rather than focus on my brother at the moment. "I don't know what you're talking about..." He trailed off as we began to walk, making our way down the corridors and to the field.

"Oh of course not, I mean your face just turned pink for no reason at all!" I joked as we joined the rest off the group where they now stood in a row, their hands behind their backs, army stile. It would seem as though we are a little late... My smile disappeared very quickly when I took in all thw grim faces around me.

"First off,  I am Mr. Davis but you will address me as coach and coach only!" he stated making direct eye contact with each of us individually. "Yes Couch!" The class echoed. "Today's session will begin with a light jog through the woods" Mr. Davis or rather coach bellowed as he made his way towards the middle of the group where he took a stand similar to ours. Chest puffed out and arms crossed. The picture perfect army general.

Indeed behind him stood a very ominous looking wooded area. The kind youcan only  read about in story books. I literally have chills. Something about this whole thing just doesn't feel right to me. The hair on the back of my neck seemed to stand on end. Glancing around it seemed as though I was the only one that felt this way...
"Team?" I whispered to Tommy, shooting him a nervous glance... I obviously can't outright tell him I'm a little on edge. "Yeah..." he answered, I could see his adams apple bob as he gulped. "Ok" I said nodding. "Ok"

Suddenly out of the corner of my eye I saw a girl to my right raise her had hesitantly. "C-coach-" the poor girl stuttered. I could barely hear her and she wasn't even far from me to begin with. "Speak up girly!" Coach yelled as he marched to stand in front of her. This caused the girl to nearly trip over her own feet as she took a step backward.

For a man of such short stature his voice is quite deep and very, very loud. Very intimidating to say the least and with his dark brown eyes and dark hair, I identified him as an earth Elemental. There seemed to be an almost magical air around him. And I could even smell on the air a faint scent of wet earth and freshly cut grass.

"Vill ve not get lost?" She asked, her question somewhat difficult to understand due to her accent that came through so strongly. She must be from the Southern islands. There they speak many different dialects. That is one of the island most well known for the different languages.

"Not if you follow the path" coach said grinning. His eyes had gained an amused glint as if he knew something we did not. Suddenly a sharp whistle tore through the air and in an instant our group jumped into action and took off into the woods in a dead sprint. I dont know why we were running whether it was to get away from him or because we just wanted to get this over with...

If we had stayed but a moment longer we would have seen the small nod the Couch had given in the direction of one of the school towers. We would have seen the dark haired being leaning out of one of the windows watching us. We would have known to be a bit more careful with who we trust. I would've been nore careful.
