Though instead of sulking I turned to the girl teamed up with me. Smiling I held out my hand for a handshake "Airis Fox" I introduced. With a smile of her own the girl took my hand "Melinda O'Riley" she said giving my hand a firm shake before letting go. Brown hair and green eyes. Earth elemental.

"I think we'll make a great team O'Riley" I said tearing the ribbon in half and handing her a strip. "As do I, Fox, as do I" she said tieing her ribbon the same as I had around my bicep before her deep green, mischief filled eyes met mine as a daring smile flitted into my face.

Chapter 13

Immediately we took of in our individual groups sprinting into the forest. As the girls all divided O'Riley and I crouched behind a cluster of boulders just big enough to hide us from sight. Out of sight out of mind...

"Whats the plan captain?" O'Riley asked smirking slightly. "Well the plan is to capture the guy with the pink ribbon" I stated with a slightly roll of my eyes. "In order to do so we will need to separate him from the group" I continued keeping in mind to keep the volume of my voice low so that no prying ears could over hear the plan.

"We'll stalk him for while till we get to the river, there you will jump him from behind, this will cause him to fall and hopefully, be disorientated, which will give time for the group to dissapear, espesially when they hear a wolf howl aka me, by this stage you will know that phase 1 is complete." I said whilst using my hands as a way of explaining myself further.

"After phase 1 I will then chase him... Maybe you could howl to continue the show? We will then run towards these rocks where you will be waiting for us. Phase 2" O'Riley said a smile lighting up her face. Now you're getting it!

"Yes! I'll wait till he arrives I'll tackle him to the ground where you will blindfold him. Phase 3" I said as adrenaline began to pump through my veins. I haven't done anything this exciting in years!

"Yes, and then phase 4 will be the final phase where we will leave this jungle with our prize in hand" O'Riley and I stated simultaneously. It was amazing how we understood each other, and even sort of knew what the other was thinking. I definitly got a great partner! On another note I wonder what cokour Tommy got... They disappeared into the forest before I could even see him...

Once we had the plan all we had to do was wait for the boys to come jogging to set things in motion. "Here they come... " I heard her whisper as we flattened ourselfs against the rocks to stay out of sight. Even though we were wearing matching dark clothes we didn't want to take the risk of being seen... That would take away the whole effect of the plan.

As they came jogging past us I shot O'Riley a look and suddenly we were off. Immediately I identified our target. The boy who was carrying our ribbin was not largly built which would've made catching him a bit more of a challenge. His slim build did by no means negatively impact him as I could see just how light he was on his feet as he switched positions within the group quite easily. He had about the same body structure as Tommy, meaning he is quite femaninly built. This also meant that I somewhat knew where to hit him where it would hurt. Strength. You can't have the best of both worlds... You're either strong or you're fast.

Keeping in mind to stay close to each other I shifted sides of the path to be next to a jogging O'Riley. "The rivers just around the next corner" I whispered. "Second to the left?" She asked. "Yeah" I nodded to confirm before speeding up a little we took a short cut through the forest so that we would be there before guys. It wasn't much later that we saw the group emerge from the treeline and take a running start to jump the river. One by ine the boys took their turn to jump the river.

"And now!" O'Riley whispered as we lifted a fallen tree branch that was long enough to stretch across the path. Our plan was to trip him and drag him into the forest without him seeing who we are as well as scaring away the rest of the group so that they wouldn't come looking for him.

'It worked!' I thought happily as adrenaline continued to flow through my body. I almost feel like I can take on the world! I can even feel the tingles build up within me.

With a dull thud I knew that he had hit the ground and that O'Riley was probably pulling him into the forest and now it was my time to shine.

"Let's see if I learnt anything from River"
And suddenly I let rip a howl so strong and so smooth that it sounded so close to the real thing that if I weren't the one doing it, I probably would've thought it was a wolf. I'm sure River would've been proud.

After my howl I could see the group pick up speed in their pace... they aslo hadn't even realised that a member of their group was missing. 'Idiots' I thought smugly and I watched them jump the river now two or three at a time.

As I turned and took off into the forest once again I became accutley aware of the roars vibrating through the forrest. 'That doesn't sound good!' I thought worridly. Sebastian hadn't said anything about any perdators living in this forest... then again neither had coach? It must have something to do with my howl... I remember reading somewhere that if an animal feel that their territory is threatened that they will come out of hibernation to defend it.
"Oh warts!"

Finally I had made it to the tree that O'Riley had mentioned they would pass. I must have just made it because it was barely a second later that I saw they boy break the tree line and sprint past the rocks I was hiding behind. 'Can't let you go just yet... ' I thought as I launched from my hiding spot and tackled him to the ground and instantly knowing the wind from his lungs.

Once I had him pinned under my body I untied the ribbon from his wrist and instead tied it like a blindfold covering his eyes. It's a lot harder to run when you cant see. Believe me I know.
"Got you" I muttered as a smile broke out on my face.

s I turned around to wait for O'Riley I made sure to keep a good hold on the boys arm. "Please you have to let me go there was a lion chasing me!" He cried and for the first time I became aware of his shaking.

"What lion?" I asked frowning feeling extremely confused. "F-first there w-was a w-wolf" he stuttered "and t-then there was a rawr and wolves down rawr and s-she said l-l-lion!" He yelped as I grabbed onto his shoulders. "Where is the girl!" I ask desperately. "In there!" He whimpers pointing back toward the forest.

"O'Riley!" I called desperatley But I received no answer at least not a human one anyway for it was not five seconds later that I heard the roar answering my call. "Something's wrong!" I muttered as my body filled with dread. I have to do something!

"RUN!" I yelled dropping the blindfold from the boys eyes as I turned on my heel and took off into the forest. The only thing on my mind was to get out before it got me. I could feel my adrenaline rush from earlier return only about ten times stronger. Finally I broke through the treeline and fell to my knees weazing, ribbon boy having joining me. It must've been a funny sight, we were covered in dirt and our clothes were torn slightly, I bet we looked like cavemen.

Suddenly I was plucked from my thoughts as a scream of pure terror wripped through the Forrest. "O'RILEY!" I yelled desperately as I struggled to my feet. My eyes met those of my terrified classmates.
No O'Riley. I have to go back!
"I have to go back!" I mutter as I struggle to my feet before Turing around and stumbling towards the forest gaining speed the ckoser I got to the trees.

"You can't!" stated Sebastian as he made a grab for my arm. "I have too, she would do the same for me." I stated as I took off into the forest once again with only one thought on my mind. 'Please be ok!'
