Nilibot ko ng tingin ang paligid. Well, this town looks normal. I tried sensing something pero wala talaga akong ma-sense na kakaiba.
I faced Cody, "Are you sure we're on the right place?" I asked and he chuckled bago guluhin ang buhok ko. Ugh.
"Hanggang ngayon ang hilig mo pa ding manigurado." He said.
Umirap naman ako, "Tuh. Ano nga? Nasa tama ba tayong lugar?" He laughed.
"At hanggang ngayon ang hilig mong mangirap" He said chuckling.
"Yes, I'm sure we're on the right town." Sabi ni Cody habang natawa-tawa. I just rolled my eyes at him.
Haharap na sana ako kay Van and Thean to ask them kung ano ang tingin nila but I saw Hunter instead, his jaw clenched while staring at me.
Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay, problema neto sa'kin?
I faced Van, "What do you think?" I asked.
"I think we need to get a hotel to sleep while the others are lurking around town" Sabi niya
"Sounds good. Ako na ang iikot, you find a hotel" Sabi ni Thean.
We grouped ourselves into two. Ang una ay ang maghahanap ng hotel at magreresearch na tungkol sa mga nangyayari dito habang ang pangalawa ay magiikot-ikot in disguise.
I chose the second one so me, Thean and Hunter were disguised as NBIs with fake badge. Si Azrael, Jenna and Cody are disguised, too. Azrael wants to come with us but when he saw that I'm still ignoring him ay kila Jenna na lang siya sumama.
The fake badge was given by Cody and Jenna, pinabibigay daw ni Mom and bukod sa fake NBI badge ay madami pang badge na nandoon including, Medical Badge, Police Badge, and everything.
"Okay. After one hour ay pupunta tayo sa hotel to gather the informations." Sabi ni Thean, we all nodded at naghiwa-hiwalay na ng daan.
I think we're starting to take this seriously. Noong una ay parang naglolokohan lang kami sa bahay pero ngayong may case dito ay sineseryoso na namin. Well I'm sure we all have the same thing in our mind.
To finish this quickly so we can go back to our usual lives.
Nakarating na kaming tatlo sa police station.
The police station were ruined. Halos matanggal na ang sign sa labas na "POLICE" and it smells like... rotten meat.
"Ugh. That stinks." Sabi ko at nilabas ang panyo, nakatakip na din ng kamay si Hunter at Thean sa ilong.
"Come on." Tawag ni Thean at pumasok kami sa loob ng police station.
If the outside was ruined, this was hell. Mas lalong lumakas ang stinking smell and the papers were everywhere. There is also the telephone that is lying on the floor.
"Should we...?" Hindi makumpletong tanong ni Hunter because he's covering his nose like me.
Thean nodded at naghiwahiwalay kami to inspect the whole place.
I think this is not normal, where did the police go? The town seems normal, though.
Naglakad pa ako papasok sa isang office, may naaapakan akong parang wood because I heard it cracked and this place was tiled.
I stomped on the place where I heard the wood and I'm right, parang mayroong underground dito. I removed the carpet that covers it, then I opened it. Pinisil ko ang ilong ko para hindi maamoy ang sari-saring nakakadiring amoy ang naamoy ko.
