Ken's Point Of View
Nagkatinginan si Van at Thean at tumitig lang ako kay Vanellope.
Napaka-tanga kong tao para iwan ang kagaya niya. Paano niya nagawang malagpasan yon? Mag-isa siya at walang kadamay, dapat ay nandoon ako nung mga panahong malungkot siya!
Fuck.
I am a fucking stupid asshole for leaving Vanellope alone!
I left her when she needed me the most. I didn't answer her calls and emails when she is begging for me to come back home.
That time, I really want to go back for her.
But I can't.
"Iyon ang pinangako niyo kay Adam?" Tanong ni Thean, Vanellope nodded nervously.
"Just that?" Tanong ni Thean, I saw sadness in Vanellope's eyes when Thean asked that.
She's probably sad that Thean doesn't trust her anymore.
Fuck. Gustong-gusto ko na siyang yakapin ngayon!
Nahihiya lang ako dahil mga kuya niya ang kaharap namin!
"Well, that promise could wait. Kailangan muna natin itigil yung gyera bago niyo tuparin yun." Van said, and of course, Thean agreed.
Vanellope shook her head, "It can't." Sabi niya.
"Why?" I asked her.
She glared at me, "Because if we found Adam's twin, we can stop the war." Sagot niya.
"How?" I asked again, and again, she gkared at me then rolled her eyes.
"I can't tell you right now." She muttered.
Tinitigan ko siya. Ganoon na lang ba talaga yun? Hindi niya kayang sabihin?
Damn it, Ken. Ito na ang parusa mo sa pag-iwan sakanya. Hindi ka na niya pinagkakatiwalaan.
"Okay. So this twin can stop the war." Thean said as he nodded, parang mas kinakausap pa niya ang sarili niya kesa samin.
"Well, it should be easy. If this Adam's twin is a vampire we could easily find him or her using Adam's blood." Sabi ni Thean.
Kung magsalita siya ay parang hindi siya ang Thean na kilala ko, seryoso siya ngayon at walang halong pagbibiro sa mga sinasabi niya. He seems like a real older brother to me now.
But then, Vanellope shook her head again, "It won't be easy to find Adam's twin." She said while staring at us intently.
"Why?" Tanong naman ni Van.
"Because I didn't said Adam is a vampire." She said.
"What?" Sabay-sabay naming sabing tatlo nila Thean, I shook my head unbelievably, kung hindi vampire si Adam, what is he?
Vanellope rolled her eyes then breathed deeply, "Adam is an offspring of an angel and a demon." She answered.
"What?" I whispered, is that even possible?! An angel and a demon?!
"That means he's half-angel and half-demon. Perfect." Sarkastikong sabi ni Thean.
"Well, pwede tayong humingi ng tulong kay Azrael, he's an angel, isn't he?" Suggest ko, Van immediately agreed, even Thean.
Vanellope sighed, "He can't help either. Being a half-angel and demon means no one can find you unless you want to be found." Page-explain niya saaming tatlo.
I shook my head, mukhang mahihirapan kaming hanapin ang kakambal ni Adam. Lalo na at hindi namin alam kung saan magsisimula.
Umalis na si Van at Thean leaving me and Vanellope alone, she sat on her bed as I sit beside her.
"You okay?" I asked, she nodded and then hugged me, I smiled, she must be really sad for her to hug me.
Kilala ko si Vanellope, mataas ang pride niya.
She never hugs me first.
"Do you think I can find Adam's twin?" She asked quietly.
I started stroking her hair, "Yeah, of course you can." I answered softly.
"Do you think I can stop this war?" She asked again.
I put her face into my palm, "Look at me." I said and then she looked at me, "You're Alexandra Vanellope. You can do everything." I encouragingly said.
"Ken." She called, her voice is sad.
Damn it! Parang kinukurot ang puso ko kapag nakikita kong malungkot siya. Mas gusto ko ang Vanellope na nagtataray!
"What is it?" Malambing kong tanong sakanya.
"Why didn't you respond to my emails back then? You completely destroyed our communication." She whispered.
Huminga ako ng malalim, alam ko na gustong-gusto na niyang malaman kung bakit. At handa akong sabihin sakanya lahat.
"My mother doesn't like you for me."
May alitan sa pagitan ng nanay ni Vanellope at sa nanay ko. Si Tita Archimea kasi ang first love ng papa ko at kahit sabihin man o hindi, alam ko na mas mahal ni papa si Tita Archimea kesa kay mama.
Alam kong nalulungkot si mama pero hindi naman ata tama na porke't galit siya kay Tita Archimea ay pagbabawalan niya akong lumapit kila Vanellope.
"Nilayo ka niya?" She asked softly.
Dahan-dahan akong tumango, "Ilang beses din niya akong sinubukang i-arrange marriage sa America. Bawal ang cellphone, computer o kahit ano na pwedeng maging daan para mag-communicate uli tayo." Pagpapaliwanag ko sakanya.
I remembered those times, it was so horrible. I almost want to kill myself because I can't stand being a prison for my mother. And I missed Vanellope back then.
So much.
So fucking much.
"Why did you came back, then?" She asked me. Hinigpitan ko ang yakap sakanya at nilagay ko ang mukha ko sa leeg niya.
She smells so good.
"My mother died, Vanellope. Rebel hunters killed her. She died for me." I whispered.
Naramdaman ko ang kamay niya sa buhok ko, "I'm sorry I'm not there for you." Bulong niya sa'kin.
Halos matawa ako.
Hindi Vanellope, ako dapat ang nahingi ng tawad sa'yo. Ako dapat. Kasi iniwan kita.
"I missed you, Ken. Back then." Bigla niyang sabi, para tuloy akong tanga na muntikan ng maiyak sa tuwa sa sinabi niya.
"I missed you, too. Vanellope. So fucking damn much." Bulong ko sa leeg niya.
She smiled, finally.
Nandoon lang kami ng ilan pang minuto. Tahimik at walang nag-sasalita hanggang sa naisip ko na baka pagod na siya at kailangan ng matulog.
I stood up, "I should probably get going. You should rest, okay?" I said as I kiss her forehead.
She nodded, "You too, pure-blood." She said and I nodded at her too.
Bago pa ako makalabas ng pinto ay tinawag ulit niya ako, "Ken." She called.
"What is it?" I asked her softly, she step towards me and then kiss me on my lips.
Nabigla ako dahil ito ang unang beses na siya ang humalik sakin, when we parted, I kissed her again. When we stopped, we are already out of breath.
She walk me to her door, "Good night Vanellope." I said while smiling softly at her.
Damn, I really love this girl.
Pagkatapos ng lahat ng ito ay papakasalan ko talaga siya.
And no one can fucking stop me.
She nodded, I don't know why but I can sense that she's sad.
"Good bye, Ken."

When we woke up the next day, Vanellope, Cody and Jenna are gone.
