JENNA'S POV
"Mam, the girl you are with wanted me to give this to you." Sabi ng flight attendant na punong-puno ng make-up ang mata, napairap na lamang ako.
I even saw her bat her fake eyelashes at my brother for heaven's sake!
Inabot niya saamin ni Cody ang isang phone, kinuha ko iyon sa kamay niya at sinadya ko talagang hablutin ng biglaan para masaktan siya, I sensed her annoyance, inirapan ko lamang siya.
"It's Alexa's phone." Sabi ni Cody.
I nodded, obviously, my great bitch cousin ran away, again. Lagi na lang naalis! Ugh.
"Kaya niya yan iniwan para hindi natin siya matrack gamit yan." Dagdag niya, I sniffed the air, Alexa's scent is still here, baka pwede pa namin siyang mahabol.
We followed Alexa's scent and ended up in an Oval near the Philadelphia Museum of Art, her scent was all over this place, damn it, panigurado ay inispray niya ang dugo niya dito to left us confused kung nasaan talaga siya, what a bitch.
"Come on. Let's go find a hotel." My brother said, his voice were cold. Huh. That's weird.
I shook my head, "Let's find Alexa first." Sabi ko, umiling naman si Cody, I can clearly sense his anger boiling up inside him.
"Hindi mo ba naiintindihan Jenna?! Umalis siya dahil ayaw niya tayong isama sa plano niya! Kaya dapat mag-stick tayo sa paghahanap sa kakambal ni Adam. Kung may mangyaring masama kay Alexa, hindi na natin kasalanan yon! It would be her fault for running away!!"
I was left damn speechless until I regained my senses, "Cody!! You listen to me! For once, you should fucking listen to me, damn it!! Alexa is our cousin!! She would risk her life for us and we should do the same!! Now, if you don't want to then go! I will find her myself!" Sigaw ko sakanya.
My brother's face became soft and then he apologized, "Sorry, li'l sis, I'm just pressured right now. Ano bang gagawin natin?" He asked, I stared at my brother.
My brother would do everything to protect me, I know that.
And Van and Thean would do the same. That's right! Oh gosh! I'm such a genius!
"I think we should call Van and Thean here, to help us. We can't do this on our own." Sabi ko, tumango naman si Cody and handed Alexa's phone to me.
I called Thean, "Oh my God Lex! Thank God you called! How are you? Asan kayo? Magkakasama kayo nila Jenna diba? Come back here this instant! We are so damn worried, Lex!"
"Thean..." I mumbled, "It's me Jenna" I said loudly.
"What?" Parang napaos bigla ang boses ni Thean, I felt my heart melted. I know how much Thean loves her sister. "Where's... where's... uh... where's my sister Jenna? I want to talk to her." Matigas na sabi ni Thean but I can feel his nervousness in his voice.
Parang kinakabahan siya sa mga sasabihin ko.
"Alexa is missing, Thean. Help us." There's a long silence at the end of the line and then,
"Jenna, this is Van, Thean is freaking out. And I am, too. Kahit si Ken ay gusto ng pumunta dyan, asan kayo?" Tanong ni Van
"Philadelphia." I mumbled.
"Okay. Isasama ko na din lahat silang andito. They are worried, too." Sabi ni Van, my eyes widen. No!
"But... but, Van! No!" I protested.
Van sighed, "No, Jenna, we are a team remember? We'll find Alexa together, we'll be there in an hour. Kaya na nila Jirve magteleport and even Joy, pupunta kami dyan." Nagmamadali ang boses niya at binaba kaagad ang tawag.
And true enough, for an hour,andito na sila. My eyes landed on Henri, he stared at me, too at kaagad akong umiwas. Van, Thean and Ken hugged me. Nakipag-bro fist naman sila kay Cody.
They are all worried and full of questions, so Cody and I decided to tell them everything. I talked and talked and then we discussed everything we found out.
5 AM na noong nag check-in kami sa isang 4-star hotel called Melrose Georgetown Hotel and after that we all slept.
Not me. Basically.
I closed my eyes, Azrael, wherever you are, guide us and Alexa. Kahit wala ka dito sa tabi namin, help us still.
I am so tired from everything.
When will this fucking mess end?
