Ch.3

"Teddy!" I called after finally coming to my senses.

I'd just accepted yet another invitation for my deathbed to arrive. Though, this one was on a much more unexperienced scale. I'd never fought a vampire in my life. Yes, there were a few in the battle of Hogwarts but none like this kind. Plus out of the few that were there I never touched one. This was nothing BUT vampires. Newborn crazy vampires against a docile coven of seven, twenty or so men who turn into large wolves, and a wizard. That's only twenty-eight people against two-hundred to five-hundred!

Dear God I hope my back up number is large. I walked back in the kitchen and saw Teddy sitting on the living room couch, once again staring at the television watching the NFL.

"Teddy."

"Who were you talking to Harry?"

"A nice man named Carlisle. He lives in America. He wants Harry to go and visit him."

"Ooooh!"

"Yeah. He wants you to come too. Harry and Carlisle's family and their friends have to go out and fight mean scary vampires from hurting people especially a girl named Bella. They want to hurt her the most."

"That's horrible." He said in a voice that if he were an adult, it would sound sarcastic.

"Now Teddy, Carlisle and his family are vampires too. But they are good they won't hurt you. And their friends are big Indians who turn into wolves like your Daddy could. But they aren't the same as your Daddy."

"How will I know if Carlisle's family won't hurt me by accident?"

"They have golden eyes. The bad vampires have red."

After explaining all of this to the small boy, he turned his eyes a gold color and nodded to me.

"When do we go?" He asked excitedly.

"Tomorrow," I smiled.

He began to cheer and clap his hands.

"Yay! Lets go get the newbs!"

"Newbs?"

"Newborn bad vampires."

"Ahh."

....

The following morning I snook in and packed Teddy's clothes and toys. He was fast asleep in his bed. I smiled. I had already woken and showered. I also had packed. I went downstairs and made breakfast. Sausage lengths, scrambled eggs, and buttered toast.

After setting up the plates, I jogged back upstairs and into Teddy's room. I kneeled next to his bed and ran my hand through his hair. He shifted and groaned in protest.

"Teddy. Teddy wake up. I made breakfast. We have to leave in an hour."

He groggily opened his eyes. He stood and wobbled his way out the room and down the stairs with me on his heels.

He was so tired that I almost had to feed him. By the time breakfast had been eaten, it was eleven-thirty. I took Teddy to the bathroom to bathe him. He was just so sleepy. After his bath and getting him dressed, I carried him down stairs where he slept in my arms on the couch until twelve. I took my wand out of my jean pocket.

"Accio trunks."

The trunks then zoomed and there were two of them, landed on my arm and almost ripped my black and white plaided checkered shirt. Slipping the wand in my pocket again, I thought of where I wanted to go and we apparated.

...

Forks, Washington State.

This is the place. I can tell. Yet this confuses me. That the house I stand in front of is not some dark gothic home with no or few windows. What I stood in front of, was a three story modern glass walled mansion, with white plaster walls on the inside, or so it seemed. The outside walls were a darker blue, with wood structure as well. I stood in the driveway entrance, at a dirt flowerbed like area on a stepping stone.
