Ch.12

Today is Sunday. Tomorrow we fight. Today, we set up camps and bring in Bella's scent as a marking for battle. Jacob, Edward, Bella, Jasper, and myself, stand in the Cullen's backyard.

"I smell dog." Jasper remarks.

All of us giggle but Jacob who smirks sarcastically.

"Alright, haha. So what's the plan?"

"Jacob you, with Bella, will set up a trail of blood for the newborns to follow to our sight. During this time, I will keep watch out in case anyone decides to drop in early and everyone else will set up, your three's camp site."

I was helping with the tent. The rest were hunting for battle.

"Alright Jake. You ready?"

"When you are."

"Good lets go."

Bella quickly waved at Jasper, hugged me, and kissed Edward. This made my snicker because Jacob obviously didn't want to see it. His smile returned when Bella was lifted into his arms and the two walked away from us.

Another funny thing. Teddy wanted to come while we pitched the tent and I created a barrier to keep harm out of their tent. So Teddy was strapped tightly to the back of the bronze haired vampire. He sat content and quiet.

"Alright boys. You know the drill." Jasper then flashed away.

"You ready?" He asked me.

"Of course. You ready for a ride Teddy?"

"Yay!"

The way he was sitting was that his face was toward Edward's head so he could hold on much tighter than if he were facing what was behind him.

I nodded.

I turned into the white mist of my Auror stature and floated along side the running vampire. I could still see them. All they saw was a trailing ball of mist. Edward was laughing as Teddy yelled and screamed with excitement. He lifted his arms like he was riding a roller coaster. He turned his eyes golden and his hair bronze. He even paled slightly. His morphing skills were improving.

Only a few short minutes and we were up the mountain. It was near sunset and the red glow of the setting sun hit his face and arms. I loved when they did that. Teddy's hair was a mess and I walked to him.

"Fun?"

"SO much fun!"

"What do you say?"

"Thank you, Edward!"

He chuckled and looked behind him.

"Anytime kid."

As he pitched the tent and Teddy sat on the ground humming, I started to create the barrier. I walked in a circle around the tent and and with my wand I imaged a shield. Clear and unnoticeable until one touched it with malicious intent at heart, causing them to jump and burn with electricity. I lifted my wand. Picturing the shield, a blue infra-light appeared at the sun, turning the line purple. It formed in the whole circle. I repeated did this for two hours straight, making it so strong not even the strongest of creatures could lay a finger nail upon their bodies.

By this time the tent was complete and when I turned around they both sat watching the shield in awe.

"Pretty, Harry." Teddy mumbled.

"Pretty, indeed." Agreed the vampire looking around himself in complete fascination.

"That was nothing."
