Ch.8

The next day we met with the wolves in the wood by the Cullen's back yard. While I could truly participate, I could watch. Get a better feel on how the vampires fight.

Around noon a large group of dogs as as taller as my shoulder came walking toward us. Only a few came. A large black wolf. A tan wolf. A white wolf. And a brown and white wolf. I could tell who they were.

The tan wolf was obviously Jacob because he walked right up to Bella. The spotted wolf had to be Seth. He was bouncing and he stood next to Jacob. The black wolf must be the leader Sam. The white wolf I had to assume was Seth's sister Leah. I haven't met them two.

"Edward will you please translate for us."

"Yes Carlisle."

After after a few moments.

"Sam and Leah want to know who Harry is."

Carlisle looked at them and explained.

"This is the man we told you about. His name is Harry Potter. Don't be alarmed by him. He knows of your pack."

The wolves nodded.

"Jasper if you please."

Jasper walked to the center and looked at all of us.

"Ok, this is how things are going to work..."

He explained to us the techniques are ways a vampire or wolf must defend himself. He then demonstrated with the help of his family. Jumping and climbing and kicking and punching. Sneak attacking. It actually was quite hilarious to watch when other members fought each other and lost or won. Laughing like it was just a wrestling game. The wolves even participated and cheered others on and vise versa. Such a day. Eventually, Jasper asked if there was anything I could teach or show them. I told them it would be useless for me to teach non-wizards.

"All I can say is... Keep out of the way."

They all understood and nodded.

After the meeting the wolves left. Everyone went hunting. So it was just Bella and I. So we headed back to the house where Bella played blocks with Teddy and I watched television. That's when the news came on..

"...Hello I'm Bill O'Reilly and tonight we have a story for you. Another disappearance has been reported as of this morning. Parents of local Seattle resident Dexter Hernandez age sixteen, went into the boy's room this morning to find the boy gone without a trace as the rest of the victims of Seattle, including year long case Riley Biers. The police are doing what they can to find Mr. Hernandez. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet. In other news... President Obama on his healthcare plan..."

"Another one!" Bella exclaims.

"Dear God, they're expanding everyday. I can't believe it. They really wanna kill us!"

"We need to tell them.."

....

"Another disappearance."

"What!" Esme yells.

"This is really getting out of hand." Rosalie sighs.

"I'll go call Billy with the news," Carlisle states. The rest file in hearing the news. All of us sitting in silence. And fear.

"We'll need to train harder..." Jasper whispers.
