A thousand butterflies

( this chapter will start on the newest episode called spa day because I really wanted to write about this!!
Ahhh I'm scared as I ship vyladlyn and travlyn but Lucinda said she likes Travis and Travis heard!! But i don't ship Travis and Lucinda because it just feels to easy where as with Katelyn and Travis they have chemistry!! Ahhhhhh I'm basically panicking!!)

Im on the steps taking to leona.
Today Lucinda has organised a spa day.

SPA DAY?

I've never been to one of those. I don't like the way Lucinda described it.

"It's where others pamper for you!" That's the way she described it , but I don't want to be pampered for!

I start to drift into my thoughts as I think about everything that has happened recently , what with the memories of jeffory, garroth seeing his mother and my feelings towards Travis..

Travis..

"Katelyn? Katelyn!" I hear leona' voice break me from my thoughts.
"What were you thinking about? Was it a boy?!!!" She asks excited.

I would never tell anyone my feelings, not even to her, even though she seems so innocent. I must lock my feelings away because the last time I didn't it resolved in jeffory's death.

Jeffory's death..

I shake off the thought of him from my mind and look up towards leona.
I can't surely hide my feelings forever .. Can I?

It can't hurt to tell one , innocent girl!

"Travis.." I barely choke out, only realising what I have just admitted to her after I have said it.

She gasps in shock.

"Travis?!! Travis!?" She blinks and rubs her eyes as if she were dreaming.
"As in the guy you HATE!" She's screaming now.

I cover her mouth with my hand.

"Shhhhh" I tell her, then I let go.

"Listen..you can't tell anyone, it's not like he likes me anyway.." I sigh , letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding, "I'm just a puppet with good looks to him."

"That's not true! I see the way he looks at you! It's so different to the way he looks at Lucinda!"

Really? It is!

Why do I feel so happy? So joyful? Like a thousand butterflies have flown out of my stomach and into the fresh air, leaving me be.

"You really think so?" I ask for extra reassurance.

why am i being so girly?

"Of course you nugget!" She smiles and jumps, clapping as she does so.

Just then I hear a voice behind us.

Aphmau!

Soon after Aphmau gets here leona asks me something. "What is a spa day?"

I raise my eyebrow at her. "Your asking me?"

I sigh. "Look this was lucinda's idea! Not mine! I would not have come if I had a choice."

"I just can't believe there's actually a hot spring on this island!" Aphmau is about to say something starting with , "well.." But I interrupt her, "I just hate calling it a spa day! I don't like the idea of being , 'pampered.'"

Aphmau lets out a small chuckle, "that's what she described a spa day as?"

I nod at her and chuckle , looking into the distance.
I look back to Aphmau as she speaks.
