"I know ... I know cadenza told me not to tell Laurence.. But this is garroth I have to tell him.."

I giggle as Aphmau walks up and down around the beach, her head dripping with sweat.
"How should I tell him?" She keeps mumbling.

"Well that is the easy part," I point out, trying not to laugh as I sit crossed legged on the beach, comfortable may I add, "you could go with , surprise! There's a bun in the oven!"

She gives me a glare and I laugh again, "or ... Surprise! The stork came to visit!" I burst out laughing until I'm rolling on the floor.

Aphmau snorts out a laugh before replying, "katelyn.. Garroth is a grown man."

I give her a questionable look as if to say, are you sure?

"So?"

"I doubt he'd ever believe that."
Aphmau throws her hands behind her head again after saying those words. But then she stops and looks at me with a smirk, "say katelyn.. What's got you so happy all of a sudden?" Moves closer to me and sits on the sand.
"Hey stranger things have happened!"
I gasp in fake offence making her laugh.

But she's right... There is a reason why I'm so happy.

*flash back to earlier that day*
I was sitting on the grass under the same tree I remember falling asleep under. The wind was blowing my hair and as usual, making it fly all over my face.

I thought about Aphmau and how much trouble she must be going through. I've always put other people's needs before mine. Always.

That's when someone tapped my shoulder and I turned round to see a certain white haired boy.

He sat across from me , cross legged as I glared at him and said his usual words, "heeeeyyyyyy katelyn."

Travis was annoying, but lately , I couldn't get him out of my mind. Just seeing him made me feel a lot better.
"Whatcha thinking about?"

"Everything. Everyone." I reply, not afraid to hold back anymore.
"Aphmau?" Travis guesses easily making me chuckle lightly, "yup."

"You know... She's not the only one around here who's got allot on her plate right now, you know who else is stressed?"

"Garroth?"
He shakes his head.
"Dante?"
He shakes his head again, "nope."

Then he slowly moves towards me until he's beside me and staring at my lips.
"You know katelyn." He inches closer to my face and I shut my eyes, waiting for him to do what I expect him too,
Then there's silence so I open my eyes to see him smirking. "You should think about yourself too sometimes."

With those words, he kisses my forehead , gets up and walks away."

*end of flashback*

"So what's making you so happy then?" It was almost two hours later now but Aphmau still hasn't forgot that I changed the subject on the beach.

"Oh nothing." I sighed before adding, "just someone special."
