Alex's P.O.V.
I woke up in the infirmary, the same blonde with blue eyes that helped me find Chiron was tending me. I slowly sat up to be pushed back down by the same boy.
"Don't sit, you'll hurt yourself" he said
"Just......rest"
I stared blankly at him for a few seconds then obediently lay back down.
"Would you do me a solid and tell me what happened" I turned my head to him.
He sighed "you were claimed after you saved Kim. You knocked out right after." He put a warm towel over my forehead. With that, he walked out the door, leaving me alone in the small room.
I heard a crack of the door....
Kim's P.O.V.
I walked towards the infirmary to check on Alex. She been there since yesterday. 'She saved me' I thought. I creaked open the door and her head jerked my way. I opened the door fully and sat on the bed.
"How's it going?" I laughed nervously.
"Fine, you?" She smiled
"I-I'm good" my eyes wavered to the skull ring still on her hand.
"Good to hear!"
"Hey"
"Hmm?" Her face morphed into a serious, yet questioning expression.
"Thanks for saving me back there. Ya know, yesterday"
"I may be younger, but I still want to protect you" her face went back to a small, gentle smile.
I smiled back when a boy with blonde hair and blue eyes walked in the room.
"Alex you can go to dinner now"
"Thanks" she nodded and began to get up.
"You coming?" She asked
"In a minute, meet you there"
"Kay" she left.
I turned to the blonde boy. "Kim" I stuck my hand out for him to shake.
"Will"
"Thanks for taking care of her for me"
"No problem"
I walked to the dining pavilion for dinner. Alex was sitting at the Hades table with him. I loved how his dark hair covered his shining obsidian eyes. My heart beat faster as I sat next to Percy at the Poseidon table. A plate of pizza was placed in front of me. I offered some to my dad and began to eat.
I looked over to the Hades table. Alex and Nico were making small talk, trying to get to know each other as new siblings. They seemed to like each other. 'Wait! Would Alex approve of me liking her brother!' 'Oh gods!' I thought.
"Hey sis, you okay?" Percy asked
"Yeah, just thinking" I smiled
"You sure?"
"Mentirosa, mentirosa, pantalones es en fuego" Alex walked up behind me.
"Uh..... Alex!" I said in a cheerful tone, trying to hide the fact she saw through my lie.
I grabbed her wrist. "I need to talk to you, in private"
"Kay, little miss 'I'm okay' "
I led her to my cabin and sat her down on my messy bed.
"What was that?!"
"The truth mija" she looked up at me.
I sighed. "For a twelve year old, you really are a smarty pain in the butt!" I laughed and she smiled.
"Here" I threw a Lego Krio set at her. I knew she loved Legos.
She looked at in awe and clutched it to her chest.
"Why?"
"It's a thanks" "and I know how much you love to build and program" I grinned wildly.
Alex loved Legos and building, and when she was asked to build and program robots, she quickly took the job. She did It three years in row. And one first place once. I knew she would get along with the Hephaestus cabin.
She quickly opened the box and began building. She looked eager, I had no regret on buying it for her. I left her to her work and went to the beach to settle down. I stuck my bare feet in the sand and the waves washed over them. I felt relaxed. I took a deep breath and stared at the sunset.

I came back half an hour later with Alex sitting on the floor, playing with the set, that may I remind you would have taken a normal human being three hours to make, that was finished. I gazed at the skill. Everything was put in the correct place and the instructions weren't even opened! Definitely going to get along with the Hephaestus cabin.
