Leo's P.O.V.
She kissed me. She actually KISSED me!!! I thought as I rode behind Alex, flying through the air. Last night was the best memory I've ever had. I smiled as the flyaway hair from her messy bun flew behind her. My arms were wrapped around her figure, my grip getting tighter every now and then. Kim kept wiggling her eyebrows at me and I rolled my eyes. I chuckled and heard a huff. It came from Alex, but I knew she was smiling. Her eyes never averted their gaze. She stared into the cloudless sky, navigating us.
After an hour or so, I tapped her shoulder. "Yeah repair boy?" Her head was glued to the empty space in front of us. "Can you look at me for a minute?" I asked. She patted Festus, signaling that he would have to fly auto pilot for a few minutes. Her head turned to me and her hazel eyes had sparkled. Kim was trying to keep from squealing. "What's up?" I smiled. "The sky". Her face had shown an annoyed expression. "Is that it?" She said as she turned. I grabbed her shoulder, "no!" She sighed and her gaze was once again on me.
My face heated up and my nose caught fire. She giggled and placed her finger on the flame, putting it out. I couldn't find a way to get her attention, I freaked and poked her cheek. She growled playfully, "you idiot". Kim almost fell off of Festus. She screamed with delight and bounced up and down until she leaned of the side. Her upper body was about to dangle but my quick reflexes helped me grab her arm before she plummeted to her death. She breathed a sigh of relief and I pulled away from Alex.
"I know" I chuckled. "You're so stupid" She smiled. I laughed and she pouted. She looked cute like that. I pecked her lips and she punched my arm. "Ow!" I complained. "Don't do that!" She yelled. "But you're so cute when you pout!" I smiled. She rolled her eyes and turned back to steering the giant metal dragon. She tapped his side. "I'll drive now, buddy" she said to the magnificent machine. Kim leaned in and whispered into my ear, "Someone's in looooovvvveeee!" I snorted at this and Kim burst into laughter. Alex angrily whipped her head around. "What is wrong with you people?!" She complained.
I smiled. "I'm just insane" I said calmly. "Ditto" Alex chuckled. "You guys are sooooo weird." Kim groaned. I raised an eyebrow. "Says the one who almost fell off a metal dragon, fangirling over me poking my girlfriend". Alex flinched at that word. I gave her a confused look. "I'm n-not used to someone using that w-word towards m-me". She turned back to the sky. "Awww, is someone embarrassed?" Kim said in a baby-like voice. Alex growled at her and gasped. "What is it, babe?" She pointed below us. There was a city, a packed one, for that matter. "Welcome home, Alex!" Kim yelled in happiness.
Alex steered Festus downward and we shot down into the extremely hot city. The place was like a dessert. Have you heard of air conditioning? I sighed as we hopped off Festus and walked through the forest we landed in. Alex skipped alongside Kim as we made our way to the city. "I can't wait to see everyone from school!" Alex laughed. Kim nodded and I had to run to keep up with their 'merry skip session'. As I caught up, I grabbed Alex's hand and she blushed before squeezing my palm and gaining speed. Kim broke into a full out sprint and Alex followed, dragging my body along with her.
We ran until we stopped in front of a Starbucks and I panted heavily. "Emily...." Alex said. She and Kim dragged me inside. "Air conditioning! FINALLY!" I yelled into the room. No one seemed to care. Guess people are used to the million degree weather out there. "Who's Emily?" I leaned to my girlfriend. She didn't answer, she was looking at a girl who looked about fifteen or sixteen, sitting on a large chair with her computer on her lap. She looked intently at her screen. She had long dark brown hair that fell over her shoulders. Her dark brown eyes were completely enveloped in her laptop. A tear fell down Alex's cheek. I wiped it away and smiled at her. She nodded and her gaze returned to the brunette in the chair.
