Third person P.O.V.
Kim made her through the woods to find Alex. Like always, Alex was sitting in the same tree, reading a book. She looked at her best friend. For a twelve year old, she looked pretty professional. She decided she would leave to her reading in peace.
She went to go see her older brother Percy. She found him eating blue pancakes that had been drowned in syrup.
"Hey Perce!" She called
"Kim! What's up?"
"Nothing much. Can I join you?"
"Go right ahead sis"
They talked for about an hour when Kim decided it was time to go. "See ya Percy!"
"Bye, see you later"
She walked to the beach, her normal hang out spot. She took off her shoes and stuck her feet in the sand. She felt so relaxed. Her mind drifted to different topics until she found one that caught her interest the most. Nico. She thought of him almost all the time. It drive her crazy, but at the same time, she liked it. She liked him.
She always caught herself thinking about his scruffy dark hair, his dark, obsidian eyes. She loved everything about him. But when she got close, he would run away. Does he think I'm creepy or ugly? She thought to herself. She wanted to cry but laugh because of her emotions toward the boy. She wanted to ask Alex for help yet it seemed rude to ask if she could hook her up with her brother.
A tear made its way to her eyes and down her cheek. She decided that she should go to sleep. She headed back to cabin three. She laid in bed with red eyes and tear stained face. She wanted to forget her emotions and Nico for that matter. She thought of him again and fell asleep. A single tear sliding down her face.
