12/13/15 Day A
"Awww, my poor baby." I cooed patting her side and kissing her head, trying to, but failing miserably, at holding in my tears.
Zoe and Dave shared this look and then looked at the three of us. "Kids," Dave paused catching a breath. "Luna might have to be put down." He said slowly.
"What!??!!!" We all exclaimed.
"There's a small chance she might survive though." Zoe chimed in trying to sound cheerful. "But she's gonna have to spend a few weeks here."
"As long as she gets better." Jake said looking down sadly at Luna and scratching her ears.
The vet came in then and said a bunch about Luna's condition, but I wasn't really paying attention to her words, I was lost in my own world thinking to myself, "It's all my fault if she dies. I took her out. I told her to put it down. It's all my fault."
Then the vet said she was taking Luna to the kennel now to keep watch over her. I hugged her one more time before crying hysterically causing Luna to lick my face. Even though she might die, she's trying to cheer me up.
The vet took her away then and we all just kinda stood there not knowing what to do before Dave clapped his hands together and said, "Don't you worry guys, she'll get better." And he walked out the door expecting us to follow, which we did.

It was already around midnight, so Zoe said to the three of us, "Kids, if you want you can stay home tomorrow."
I shook my head as I said, "No." At the same time the boys said, "Yeah.... ok."
Zoe, who was clearly surprised, asked me, "Why?"
"Then I'll be bored out of my mind with nothing to do." I told her. Lies, all I would be thinking about would be how she might die because of me.
"Then you better hurry up and get to sleep." Zoe said as we pulled in the driveway. Psh, I've been up all night and gotten no sleep and still gone to school.
We hopped out of the car and I gathered my clothes for tomorrow deciding to take a shower in the morning.
