Chapter 15 Bus

12/14/15 Day E
I woke up as a zombie, so I took a cold shower to wake up. Instantly, I was back in the world of the living. I got dressed in my blue polo, black khakis, and my converse. I decided to put my hair up since I was too tired to do anything with it. I quickly brushed my teeth and washed my face. Before putting on deodorant and chapstick. I don't like makeup, the only time I ever wear it is on Halloween or some other special event, so I wasn't gonna wear it today.

I run down to the barn to let the horses out to graze in the field before running up to the bus stop with Blackjack running along side me, keeping me company.

My school doesn't have it's own busses so if I decide to ride the bus, I use the busses for the public school. However, since I get carsick so easily, Zoe normally drives me, but since I didn't want to wake her up, I decided to take the bus just this once. Bad idea. Kids notice when things are different, and if they don't their friends do.

I told the bus driver that I go to Westland so he knew to go there before claiming a seat towards the middle of the bus. I sat down and look out the window and watched as Blackjack trotted home.

I heard a group of 2 boys and a girl whispering from the seat diagonal from mine. The one guy said, "Jake and Luke probably moved and she just moved in."

And the other boy replied saying, "But they would've told us."

While the girl said, "But then why was their dog with her?" Ignoring them, I sat down and started listening to music.

After a little bit the girl who sat with the boys that were whispering walked up and sat next to me. She tapped on my shoulder and said, "Hey. I'm Callie. What's your name?"

"Jalynn." I mumble taking out my earbuds not wanting to talk.

"Oh, well it's nice to meet you Jalynn...... Can I have your number?" She asked, which totally confused me. But I put it in her phone anyway.

But that still wasn't enough for her! She just kept talking. Finally she said something that I could reply to, "Do you by any chance know what happened to the boys that were living in your house went?"

"They're still there, just skipping today." I told her.

"Oh, how do you know?" She asked confused.

"I'm their sister." I said, then I got up and headed off the bus because we were finally at my school. I heard quite a lot of whispering follow me off the bus after that. Some were, "Where are we." And, "This isn't our school!" Others who were closer to me and heard what I said, said stuff like, "I never knew they had a sister." And, "She doesn't look like them."

I like leaving people confused so I didn't say anything else. As I got off I saw Daniel, Devon, Raina, and Sierra running towards me and they all hugged me. I was used to Devon, Raina, and Sierra hugging me because they were my best friends, but not Daniel. He was probably just used to hugging random girls so it wasn't really a big deal to him.

Since I took the bus I was later than usual so I only had 30 minutes before class instead of my regular hour. "C'mon, guys." I say dragging them to the dining hall for breakfast before anyone on the bus noticed he was Daniel Skye.

"Oh, I forgot you talk." Daniel exclaimed. Causing us to laugh.

I excused myself to go to the bathroom while the rest of them were still eating breakfast. Instead of going to the bathroom though, I went to Sierra's locker. This time the note said Your Smile.
