We had just come back from the hospital and Daddy explained to me what happened to Mommy. "She had a severe allergic reaction to a wasp sting and she went up to Heaven to fly in the sky and look after us. Normally she would have an EpiPen with her to cure that, but she already used it and was planning to buy another one once I came home so she didn't have one with her. She probably would have made it if we got to the hospital in time but the paps were in the way so it took very long to get there."

I didn't understand a lot of those words but I just nodded my head and asked, "So when is she coming back?"

He stared at me for a moment before saying, "She isn't." And then he burst out crying. I hugged him and started crying too.

---

The next day I went down to breakfast but Mommy wasn't cooking for me like usual, a woman was standing in front of the stove cooking eggs while Daddy sat there staring gloomily at her. It was strange because normally we didn't have anyone in our house except for me, Mommy, Daddy, and George. But I guess since he led the paparazzi here yesterday he didn't really care about that now.

Daddy took me into the other room and said, "Sweetie, that is Lulu, she will be your babysitter and will be taking care of you for a few days until I find a permanent situation because I'm always away and I can't leave you alone. "

I peeked over at her. She looked to be about 20 and had the prettiest blond hair ever, it almost looked like it glowed as it curled around her shoulders, she had brown eyes that looked big and innocent, and her body looked so skinny and frail I thought the slightest wind might knock her over.

"What about Mommy?" I questioned.

He just sighed and said, "She isn't coming back sweetheart."

"Oh," I said remembering and started crying. Lulu ran over and tried to calm me down but instead it made me cry more because that's what Mommy would do and I really missed her, and then the smoke alarm started going off because the eggs started to burn, which only made me cry harder.

Daddy got up, rubbing his temple and then he walked out of the house, probably to the recording studio. As soon as the door closed, Lulu went to the window and looked out. After a bit she walked into the living room and turned on the t.v. She started watching something and just sat there for a while.

I got bored and I didn't know what to do, so I decided to go outside and climb a tree. I stepped carefully from one branch to the next careful to not miss a branch and step on air. But, even though I was careful, I stepped on one branch that was too small to hold my weight and it slowly cracked and fell taking me with it. I fell down the tree hitting a few branches on the way down. I started crying my eyes out, but Lulu didn't even seem to hear.

I went inside to go show her my cuts but I searched all around the house for her and couldn't find her. I finally found her in my mom's room. She was picking up her stuff and putting them in a bag. "What are you doing? Get off! That's not yours!" I yell at her.

"Oh, honey, it all will be, soon enough." She smirked.

"What does that mean?" I asked confused.

"It means I will get your dad to marry me and then I'll be rich and famous." She said dreamily.

"But he doesn't love you. He loves my mommy." I told her.

I shouldn't've said that because she got real angry and slapped me across the face, "But she's dead." She said coldly.

"He still loves her." I said softly under my breath, because I knew I was right. I saw him staring at a picture of her and he was saying how he will always love her and he was crying.

I must've said it loud enough for her to hear it because she hit me again before smiling cruelly and turning towards the door. Her face fell, because standing there was my daddy. "Oh, uhh, sir, I didn't know you were home."

"Did you just hit my daughter.... Twice!?" He said rage evident in his face and voice.

"Oh, uhh...." Lulu looked down.

"Do you really think I would want to marry you. You just hit my daughter, and treated her horribly, you're just after me for money, and you think I would want to marry you!" He said spitting all over. "Get out! You're fired!" He screamed as she dropped the bag and quickly ran out.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asked me softly.

"I fell out of the tree." I said showing him my cuts.

"Oh, sweetie," He cooed taking me to the bathroom to wash my cuts. "Where was Lulu when this happened?" He asked.

"Uhh, I don't know, I think in here." I said.

"What do you mean? She was supposed to at least be watching you." He asked confused.

"She wasn't." I said, yawning, suddenly really tired. "Can I go to sleep now?" I asked him.

"Yeah, sure." He said taking me to my room.

---

When I woke up he said George would be watching me from now on and that we would be moving since his fans now know where we live. We moved the next week. The house wasn't a mansion, but it was pretty big with a pool, a huge field, and woods in the backyard, 3 stories along with a basement, attic, and a 3 car garage, it had 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 3 living rooms, and a pretty big kitchen, among some other rooms.

Daddy told the paparazzi that I was his niece and I was going to be staying with him for a while. I also still got to go to my old school because we didn't move that far.

---

A month later, Daddy canceled all his meetings and stuff for the day, and he took me to the Secret Shop. The Secret Shop was an ice cream place that was hidden in between other buildings and had fish painted all over the front. It was really rare for him to cancelled all his meetings just to spend time with me. I guess with Mommy gone it's different.

I could see him opening and closing his mouth trying to say something but then not so I finally asked him, "What's wrong?"

He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair and said, "I'm looking for somewhere else for you to live, so you won't live with me anymore."

"But why?" I sobbed.

"Sweetie, it's-it's just..... I'm too busy for a kid." He tried explaining to me.

"You don't want me!!" I wailed.

"It's not that I don't want you," He tried explaining. "It's because.... I'm famous and people will be all over you and you know I want you to be as normal a kid as you can get, and you won't live a normal life if you live with me." he said and I could see tears welling up in his eyes.

I cried the whole way home and once we got home he told me gently, "I'm gonna make sure you get a good home but until then you'll stay with me, okay. And that can take years sometimes."

I started to feel better after that and me and him watched a movie until I fell asleep in his arms and he took me to my room and laid me gently on my bed.
